I'm gonna get it, I'll let you know what I think. I haven't really been keeping up with Pokemon, the new regions aren't as uh... well, let's just say "interesting" to me as the old ones (HG/SS got my attention obviously because they are remakes of old generation games, which I'm obviously a fan of... obviously).

I recommend getting Black or White. It's much better than Diamond/Pearl in my opinion(except for the tutorial up until the first gym)
The pokemon's names are still shitty, but I can see some effort put into this game. The graphics are pretty cinematic, along with the overall layout of the game.
One little thing that bugs me is the inability to get anything before the first gym. You have a choice of 3 different pokemon.(No not starters) Two are normal type, well 3 because the third doesn't learn any dark type attacks quick enough. I find most normal types to be HM dummies or inusable.
Also, you get one pokemon opposite to your starter, which I find really neat. The pokemon is actually pretty good too.

I have it for emulator.
So far, I haven't even reached the 1st gym yet. lol
Why? Plenty of reasons...
1. the last one I had downloaded had a "No exp." glitch.
2. Last version of Desemume crashed when I had the fixed rom.
3. Forgot to save when I reached the next route.

Pokemon black and white is pretty good the spirit's are really good and has a pretty good story. But the pokemon names aren't that good at all

Anyways....
Game was pretty good... I noticed that pokemon tend to get more critical hits more then usual... And the wild encounter rate seems to be a bit higher... But that doesn't bother me a lot... (EXCEPT WHEN WILD POKEMON LAND A CRITICAL HIT EVERY FREAKING TIME!!!!!)
My favorite pokemon so is....
Sawk-

Nintendo sells the same old s*it for overpriced prices and the names are still weird like
Sawk (sounds like a mix between a saw and a hawk) and Gothita sure sounds like another trick how Nintendo sells sexual contents in a inconsiderable way for 13 years old children (or for gelbooru hardcore user). I'm anyway too (mentaly) old for this crappy crap.

Hate to go off topic but is it just me or does that game need RIDICULOUS grinding? Seriously, I've grinded for the last like... 5 hours, and I'm still having difficulty on the second island...

I hate games that require grinding. It's just so stupid. Games (on easy or normal mode or w/e) should be beatable without having to go out of your way to train. >___>

Beat the E4 yesterday morning btw. Ending was pretty good. Freaking endgame trainers get a huge spike in difficulty though...well at first.

A couple of my friends had a Pokemon battle to see who would get which game, because they both wanted White. Now it's all settled, but they're pressuring me to get Tepig (I don't even have the game yet) because they had the other two starters.
Since its evolutions look freaking stupid, I think I'm going to do a no-evolution run the first time around, which should make this game a hell of a lot harder, because these starters are supposedly weaker than any other starters for any other region so far.
