Many people have heard of Final fantasy, in fact, if you haven't, then you've been living under a rock for your whole life. However, there are other gems that have been hidden by the over shine of the FF title. One such title is Legend of Dragoon.
Legend of Dragoon was created in 2001 and was overshadowed by FF 9, which took graphics to a new level. Though, through its graphics disadvantage, Legend of Dragoon happens to be the favorite of many RPG fans all over the globe. Countless people have begged for a sequel, or even a prequel, but to no avail.
With that little bit of history, I will now unveil my first project. I plan on reformatting the LOD game into FE style. If that goes well, then I may try to make a sequel or prequel, fan base style.
In all truth, this project is just to get me used to the formatting and everything else for the hacking for the major project I am working on for Luca Nuva.
Again, if this post is in violation of the rules, let me know and I will be wiser in my future posts.

|Is LoD a game by Square (again) and what's about the story, gameplay, etc.?|
No, happily, LOD is not a Square production. It was created by the Sony Computer entertainment(Yet its for the ps1)
The story is about, first, Dart, a young man who has lost everything to war. His biological mother and father were killed by a being called "The black monster." After a failed journy to find and kill this monster, he comes home to Sales, his new home, only to find it being burned to the ground by an army that came to take his friend, Shana, away.
The story continues on a war path, all the way through to the 4th disk, however, the enemy keeps changing. Friends that Dart makes die, get sick, just decide they want nothing of him anymore, and some even hide their true feelings from him.
In the end, the main characters, who stay important throughout the entirety of the game are:
And thats just a small list of the good guys. The bad guys include only three names that stay constant:
The black monster(No pic)
Melbu Frama(Bad pic)
Now, unlike everyone else around, Dart and his friends are different. They have the power of Dragons. Each of them carries a stone which gives them the soul of a dragon, enfused with their own souls. The resulting being called, a dragoon.
Gameplay is much like FF, except, it involves combos. A little blue box flies through your screen towards another blue box. Once the two meet, you are prompted to push the X button to continue the combo. If the enemy is trying to counter attack(Blue box turns red) Then you are prompted to push instead. The number of combos allowed is limeted to the "Addition" You have equiped. To start off, you get two combo, hit and hit again. As you level up, your proficiency with that Addition will go up, you will gain new additions, and even a "Secret" Final addition that only shows up if you master all other additions.
In the FE version I am working on, I have had to take out the addition system, as FE format wouldn't allow it, it would make fights to easy. I am throwing in a total of 50 hidden items, called Star dust, which will, if you find them all, be traded to someone for the Ultimate weapon, the Dragon buster(Which Lloyd automatically carries. But for the small price of 50 Stardust.....You could too.). As the game is still in very early development(I haven't even got all the things I need for hacking downloaded) I can't tell how to get these secret items.
There will be a map for each of the bosses in the game(Meaning I will have to replay the game so I can get all the bosses memorized.). All Dialogue will be exactly the same(Meaning I have to take extra time to write down all the lines perfectly, though I will try to fix the few mistakes they have). And the support system.....I'm planning on deactivating it(I'm working with FE 7 atm, so....). Needless to say, there will be some more hidden things, and most likely, a fan based story for lloyd(Cause despite first opinions, he isn't all bad.).
All in all, if I don't lose heart, be expecting a Major game. Especially since I have to pack 4 disks into one game.....If worse comes to worse, I may just make 4 instalments, one for each disk, and you'll just have to start over each time, but I don't think that will be a problem. The normal FE games have over 30 maps to fight in.

I've got the first map, Seles, hand drawn. I know where I'm going with it(Since its not that hard when the story is already made and famous).
I did a few sketches of the characters, and made one that looks FE worthy. Once I've got more scanning capability, I will scan it off, and hopefully get someone to get it colored.
Unfortunatly, my first disk of LOD doesn't work anymore, and the earliest save I have is at the end of disk 3. This isn't a big problem, it just means that I will have to rely on someone's walkthrough for all the text. I'll also have to look through Youtube for a video walkthrough so I can build the rest of the maps.
Well, I was going to do this hack on FE 7, but, because of the travel map, I have decided to do this from 8, Sacred stones. What this will esentially do is give more chances to go back and get things you've missed, have more chances to find those elusive Star Dust pieces, let you look for the hidden secrets that I haven't discussed yet, and more.
*ONE MORE SECRET REVEALED*
I have decided that I will be putting in a few secret characters. The way to get them on your team is to simply find them. (This decision was decided because, you only have a few people to choose from for the main force. The way the original game was composed, you had a team of three at all times to help out Dart, so more people were not really needed.) The only hidden character I will reveal is.....Miku Hatsune, who will be a dancer.
I think that I have everyone caught up on whats going on at the moment. I'll be sure to keep posting as I get more things done.

Some of the character battle sprites have been worked on. These sprites include:
Kongol, second boss fight(Really just a gold general with an ax, but still, the fact that its been worked on at all does wonders on my stress)
Lloyd, all boss fights, except one(Black Swordmaster with a fiery sword)
These have been worked on by Eliwood.
I myself have worked on the promotions for all of the characters...(Taking the half dragon sprites and working on them to match each character.)
I've stopped working on face sprites at the moment, as I've yet to get a real knack for it. Once I get better at it, I will be posting more/better/hopefully amazing ones.
I've started putting a few together, namely the Seles fight and the Ghost ship encounter, as well as a few others, wich will remane nameless
