I'm pretty sure Europe cares.

It's just that... I don't live in Europe.

>all swordmasters get to fight in yukata
>it's not a change you can permanently choose

wha...I...

what the hell are these DLC makers thinking??

(I'd have totally bought it if I could have that option)

I believe in judgment of humans through their judgment of fiction, for nothing else tells better of their disposition freed from apprehension.

What they were thinking was being practical.
They're replacing the model for an already existing class on that DLC map. Your class wasn't renamed or anything. That would mean it's associated with the data on the SD card.

I don't see how that is practical to an extent where it would be of significant importance, the only thing that comes to mind might be how allowing external features to enter the otherwise completed game might screw with the code (and if that was the case, every item and skill from the DLC would likely be an issue too) and I heard that all 3DS DLC is on-disc anyway, so they should have been able to design it as a non-situational alternate costume easily enough (considering the rest of what they do.)

The game was released way before the DLC they made was even thought of.

Having an alternate costume option for the same class would require recoding the game, as in having the foresight to do that. All they implemented was the ability to have DLC MAPS and change whatever happens on said DLC map. Didn't you notice how they had story events AFTER the prep screen and not before in Future of Despair/Future Past?

I didn't actually, since I don't have those DLC. Thanks for correcting me, though.

I think that's actually the first I've seen of the Yukata.

I'm a little interested, but not enough to finally start playing Awakening again.

(One of these days...)
