And yeah, most games turned into TV shows or movies (as well as some cartoons turned into real motion pictures) turn out bad. There are always exceptions, but I can't disagree with you guys >_>

The Street Fighter movie. The Mario Bros. movie. Dragon Ball Z, King of Fighters, Prince of Persia, both Mortal Kombat movies, the other Street Fighter movie... iirc, none of them were worth watching. Of course, if you have the creator of the game involved with the movie, there's potential of it being good, but that doesn't happen very often.
They made a Japanese Ace Attorney movie that looked pretty good though.
Of course, it's highly doubtful a Fire Emblem movie will ever be made, and even more doubtful that it will actually be localized.Just like FE1-6, 12, possibly 13...

Not sure if anyone mentioned it yet, but Fire Emblem has a 2 episode anime. I think the links to it are on the main site.
A Fire Emblem short movie consisting of various gameplay clips would be possible, but I don't know how interesting. The main problem in making movies of video games is that games are about gameplay, not being interactive novels. Unless you ask Bioware these days.

I think they could make a movie of Fire Emblem ("Blazing Sword") because it's not as war-based. The other games tend to have large armies in action, even if you don't exactly control the large armies and the generic troops. FE7 on the other hand you kind of traverse the world and it's more... "ragged" and less uniform and linear. I think it could definitely make a better movie than say, Fire Emblem 10, which is heavily based on the war aspects. After all to have a good movie you need to be familiar with the characters and whatnot and FE7 has 3 main characters (4 if you count the Tactician) and a lot of other good characters like Ninian and Nils, Elbert (I think that's Eliwood's dad's name), Lyn's grandfather, etc., the characters would be more real. Of course you'd still have some war-y aspects, like Uther and the morphs coming in, but IMO FE7 would make the best movie regardless, just because of it's unique and IMO awesome plot.

As much as I want a good Fire Emblem movie to watch, I doubt it's gonna happen.
2 reasons.
1. Super Mario Bros. Movie. Need I tell you how that went? If it wasnt for Nintendo being a major monopoly at that time, they could've gotten bankrupt.I, myself, sorta liked the monstrocity of a movie, but everyone else and their mom didn't.
2. Final Fantasy - The Movie. Square didn't have the monopoly power Nintendo had and suffered because of it, to the point where they've gotten bankrupt.
I'm pretty sure Nintendo's learned from those major instances, and that's why they're probably avoiding the thought of that.

I'm going to have to agree with Silence. If they make an FE movie: It better have all of that, but, have an actual plot. That's all I can really say.

I wouldn't watch an FE movie unless it was really ****ing fantastic. Namely because the games are pretty fun, but fun games don't translate well to movies. Especially when filmmakers are about as competent as monkeys with their heads up their asses.

I'd watch a FE movie, but then again, I seriously liked the Super Mario Bros movie, so I wouldn't care about quality. Especially if they made it like the Mario Bros movie, throwing out all logic and cannon and just putting heroes of every nation and game together against aliens or something. I mean what?

You know what. I may have said it before. Fire Emblem done Game of Thrones style could be good. LOTR style wouldn't really fit. Maybe Harry Potter style. Like, a bunch of self-contained adventures all adding to a big adventure.
