[Fire Blazer]

Hello all!

Before I go on my trip I have some business to take care of.

VETERANSHIP!

The Fire Emblem Shrine is a pretty old Fire Emblem fan site, as are its forums. FEShrine Forums V (5) have been around for almost 3 years now. With that being said, some people have shown very good qualities as members, such as leadership, kindness, quality posts, activity, and sticking with the forum even when things got tough.

These people, some of which should have gotten this honor earlier, have acted as long-time members that have served the Fire Emblem community well.

Thus, I present to you, the honor of Veteranship, with all the honor, privileges, and responsibilities thereto.

- Dath - for being a long-time member who has always helped to boost activity when needed. Despite taking long breaks, he never seems to forget that he will always have friends at FES.

- Grey Tensho - with funny jokes but serious duties, Grey has always served to lighten up tense moods and provide a laugh in the shoutbox or in an appropriate forum whenever you needed him.

- Holy Kensai - this old member in past ages brought this forum to its greatest moments, always willing to have a nice discussion in the shoutbox and forum alike.

- Rujio - willing to help wherever needed and always friendly to new people, Rujio has been around since the beginning, and thankfully, he's still here today.

- DH_Ninja - one of the first members and a good friend of mine, as well as a former moderator. Has always been open to helping with RPs or whatever else we needed, DH is long overdue for this honor.

- Blazing_Soul - Despite having many difficulties that always seem to keep him away from us, he's been a long-time friendly and role-model member (well, barring the fact that he leaves months at a time!) that I've known since who knows how long, and I can only hope he'll keep sticking with us as he can.

- badkiara - this guy... he's everywhere. All the time. Just when you need him. Friendly, has played more games than most everyone here, watched more animes than most everyone here, and, no offense, but he kicks ass more than a lot of people here (especially considering how 50% of the registered members have only visited like, once XD). Thank goodness this guy has been here for as long as he has been.

- Mankut8397 - last but not least, this guy might only lurk sometimes, but I know he's always done his best to visit when he can, and he's a great guy to have a great chat with. Not to mention he's getting pretty good at GFX. You can tell with one glance he's the mature type with a fun side to him. =D


To all of you (even the non-veterans), thank you SO much for being part of the forums. Being a veteran doesn't change too much--you get to choose any of the member or veteran portraits (who knows where the thread is though...), and you can't get in trouble, but otherwise, I'm just expecting the same old awesome people who have helped FEShrine be one of the best Fire Emblem sites there is, regardless of what anyone else thinks.

Also, if there was anyone I missed (I'm doing everything in a rush lately...), please PM me with details. There's likely a reason I didn't promote them yet (not been here for enough years, not enough posts, hasn't visited in a while, or has had some problems with the moderators) but it's also possible I forgot someone.

Hey bblues you wanna take adminship for a little and do the actual member updates for me as soon as people say what member pic they want? (I figure some people might want to use one of the member pics and just be a veteran in name/color)

If not I'll bug Seraph... as you can see I'm kinda looking to share the forum work here for once XP

Funny thing is, I was thinking about making a thread in the staff forum suggesting we promote new vets. Not even lying.
