Disclaimer
I do not own the rights to Fire Emblem, nor am I affiliated in any way with Nintendo, Intelligent Systems, or any other company.
Fire Emblem - Devourer of Worlds is completely a non-profit fan project, powered only by love and appreciation of each game series.
Premise
I no longer have the desire to hack. However, I do have the desire to still tell the story. Lately, the medium in which I have put much of my interest is comics. Thus, I have decided to create my own. Devourer of Worlds in comic form will give me much, MUCH more freedom to do what I like with the story in addition to making use of the graphics that everyone contributed so long ago.
Note that this comic will be very similar to the hack. However, since that story was planned over two years ago, there will definitely be changes. Also, as I said, I have much more freedom to write the rest of the story now.
Basic Storyline
Will write later.

Those of you who have played the Prologue of the hack will already know what happens. In fact, those that have played will know pretty much exactly what happens for the first few chapters.

Looking forward to more, especially battle sequences since much more can be done with them.
Good luck!

Wow, this is really cool! |
What he said.
This is a really good idea, very unique and original - which is something you don't really see in today's scene.

Lately, the medium I have been reading is comic books (to put it in perspective, I've spent well over $2000 this year on comics alone). So I decided to try and make one - FE style. Besides, all these people helped me make the sprites, so I'm going to make sure they go to good use. As of now, there will be as many issues as there are chapters in the hack. This is subject to change, as some chapters may be combined with others or bigger chapters will be split into two or more. |
I imagine you get along well with your students.
Also check out the Mass Effect and Dragon Age graphic novels. Worth reading, even if you're not familiar with those franchises.

This won't be removed until Chile wins the World Cup - Started 24/06/12
BTW, I take map requests if anyone wants to make one XD, just send me a PM and I'll most likely accept. If you wanna see some of previous work you can visit my gallery here, I'd skip to the end because I've improved alot XD.

Issue #1 was only 5 pages, which was pretty short. I'm currently working on Issue #2, and so far it is 14 pages (and I'm not even done). I will probably be done some time this week. Possibly next week, we will see how my schedule goes.

Without the darkness, there can be no light. |
That sounds pretty and all, and I hate to be the guy who nitpicks at this, but technically it's the other way around. Darkness is created by obscuring light.

"Everything must have its reverse, for without darkness there can be no light, without war there can be no peace, and without hate, there can be no love."
And yes, you are looking at it technically rather than metaphorically.

Hey, the Devourer series has had me going for the last 7 years from when I started on Devourer of Time to now (though there was a huge time gap from when I actually worked on it). It was fun while it lasted. Sorry to those who were looking forward to anything.

Sorry to hear you're not keeping it up. It was def interesting and I was def looking forward to it. You're part of why I continued hacking for as long as I did, so it's kind of sad to see you not only stop hacking, but the general story-making and idea-making involved with it (as hacks are just one medium of sharing such things, IMO).
Signature thanks to Shu.
