This is a really cool community that is starting up here. I'm glad I can be a part of it. Also, I'm itching to play in the semifinals.... 

​But I can't because Voffle and countchrisdo won't get their crap together and play their match first. XD 

 

haha sorry idk what's up I'll ask Voffie to at least post a status update here for everyone to see

 

as for my match, Febro is being busy and having bad internet and pretty much the only time he was available was a short time after like 3:30AM my timezone (I was sleeping when he messaged me and even if I wasn't, I wouldn't play Smash at such a time... way too late... or early -_-)

and it didn't show them as having read it, right? in that case... yeah I guess it's just up to Cero though if he's dumb I will use my tyrant powers to force him to DQ countchrisdo because no one likes a slow-paced tournament AFAIK

Ok, since I agree with Blazer that no one like s a slow tourney. So, of the current pending matches

 

3DS: Febro v Blazer, Voffie v Countchrisdo

Wii U: Febro v Blazer, Voffie v Silence

 

MUST be completed by the end of April 21st CST otherwise I will disqualify the person who is holding up the match. In the event I don't know who is holding the match up, both people will be disqualified.

won 2-1 vs. Febro in 3DS, Wii U match hasn't been played yet, waiting on Febro

probably shouldn't have "counter-picked myself", but this is why I don't play in tournaments. my ability to care is too low

 

finally these matches are done they were causing me stress due to them taking so long and I was taking my anger out on everyone I'm sorry

I won 2-1 against Silence. It was literally down to the wire. I hate fighting ROB so much. Props to Silence for the great games.

Edit: I literally shouted "Yes" when I got Silence with the last upsmash in game 3.

Edit again: I won 2-1 against countchrisdo.

Lost 2-0 to Blazer. First match was close and for the first stock of the second I made kill himself to get his pace back. Then I fucked up hard and I think lag messed up my quick attack inputs. gg.

I won 2-1 against Voffie. It was quite the battle. Voffie pushed me to the edge with his Yoshi on multiple occasions. Its insane to have that kind of control and combo ability while using the 3DS. So major props on that end, and just props all around in general. Thanks for the awesome game!

Wooh.

 

The Smash for 3DS Tournament is complete! I managed to come out on top in 4 hard-fought battles against Scale-Tipper, 3-1. He plays a good Robin and Lucario. That was fun.

 

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED!

 

The thing with Smash tournaments is that they can't happen without people to play! So I hope you all enjoyed it and I hope we get people to join again--if not more than last time--and have fun battles for all. :)

 

There's just the Wii U tournament's grand finals remaining, I think. Voffie vs. Febro, right? Lookin' forward to that! :)

Our match should be this Sunday once  I am awake enough to actually play Smash.

Edit: I lost 0-2 against Febro. Shulk's counter is the best counter in the game and lasts longer than Marth's. I will no longer accept any arguments on this point.

yeaaahhh Shulk is somewhere high up on the tier list thanks to being so dynamic and having that amazing counter lol, seriously that counter not only has a great timing but can be done in two styles, decent range (in terms of how far he can get you from as he moves in for the slash), and great knockback and/or damage, esp. depending on the mode lol

 

I played Febro using Marth and it did NOT go well, Shulk like, hard-counters Marth lol, I consider myself a decent Marth player just because I've been playing him for so long but I hardly stood a chance haha

 

And both tournaments are OVER! Congratulations to our two winners, Blazer and Febro! Hope we all had a good time. Now we just have to have Blazer determine the winner of the lottery prize.
