"If revenge is what you seek then we must get the aid of the people first" stated Selene "ShinRa has turned them against us, if we take down ShinRa the populace will come to fight us....We'll have to fight innocent misled people" She snapped her dagger releasing the whip, getting ready to swing to another area. "Use wisdom before brute force"

"Mhm," Leon agreed, as he went by policing the unconscious.

Selene nodded, pleased that aggression had been avoided. "We should probably escape to one of the smaller villages, perhaps some place where the people will not attack us. Do you have any suggestions?"

"Lyrn should be close by, we could head there," Leon suggested.

((Yay for made up towns.))

[Mankut]

"We should get going, the soldiers are almost awake", Mankut said.

((Leon went around and killed the rest of them. That's what policing them meant. xD))

((They were waking up, and Leon didn't want to fight them all awake. They would try to kill them when they woke up, so Leon stopped unnecessary violence with more violence. xD))

((Cleaning up? xD These are Shinra soldiers, not livestock. We wouldn't clean them up. This is also what their mission was, to defeat the men there.))

((I doubt we'll be doing any of the clean-up ever, no real point. Killing things is what we're training to do- in the RP I mean.))

Alexei suited up, grabbed a loaf of bread, and walked down to the town. He could feel it. Something was coming. The townspeople had to be protected.

"Come on, we should keep moving. Shinra could send reinforcements," Leon stated, walking on.

[Kiki]

Selene nodded in agreement, following silently behind him. She did not intend nor wished to fight a multitude of Shinra troops. She recoiled her whip thought kept the handle in her hand, in case there ever came a time for her to quickly lash out at an attacker or take flight away from an enemy.

Mankut walked alongside Leon. Looking around anxiously, he started to play with the materia in his pocket.

"Careful. You don't want that going off now, huh?" Leon asked Mankut.

Alexei walked through Lyrn, telling everyone to hide. Reaching the end of town, he could see a group of armed travelers. Pulling his mask on, readying his two swords, Alexei gripped them tight and cast quake in front of the group, to discourage them from continuing this way.

Selene briefly sensed the materia being used before the spell was cast, though it was at a time much too late. She had been lost in her thoughts, thinking about her current predicament, leaving herself open for attack. She stumbled, and she caught sight of the armed warrior ahead. Did he mean harm or perhaps he was threatening them to stay away.

She wasn't exactly sure whether the man intended to harm them, but she knew that hot blood ran in some of the warriors she fought alongside. Quickly raising her hands and bowing her head, as a sign of peace. Despite the distance between her hands and her whip she was quite capable in grabbing it within a moment's notice.

Chaz, having seen the attack coming unnaturally quickly, drew his materia incrypted sword and cast Haste in time to move out of the way, but quickly sheathed his sword.

Seeing them dodge to safety as he predicted, he shoved both his swords into the ground. Casting another materia, he stood still as they watched him. Suddenly great gobs of poisonous air appeared, stopping right before them. Lowering, it burnt the message "Stay away from this village" into the ground via dead plantlife.

"We have no problem with you, or this village," Leon shouted to this man. "We just wish to stay a night or two, than leave early in the morning."
