Expect a lot of commentary on small things and a lot of elaboration. I will never go back to this project but it's nice to revisit.
Anyway! Let's begin!
We have a prologue. No other screen shots because there's nothing
in particularly special about the menu. It's exactly the same.
Richter was a Castlevania reference. But let's go with a different name.
The month was random.
And so we wake up bound and gagged! Ain't life grand?
And we meet Kid Tekun!
Tekun was a heavy Guy edit. In fact, Tekun in TLP takes Guys character slot.
Additionally he smiles a lot due to a **** up on my part.
Is Oh **** my name or... Oh **** that's an odd name...
Tekun hears some sound! Let's investigate...
Wait a second, this place looks familiar.
Sweet Mother of God. Seven... We're going to die. We're going to die.
One thing you should know about Requiem of War is I intended it to be hard.
I intended this hack to be challenging. Difficult. Odds like 1vs7. The next chapter is
even harder. But of course hindsight is a *****.
Keep in mind I was about 17 when I did this? I'm 21 now.
And yes, this is Lyn's tent. Requiem of War is a re-skin.
It's funny to think I can do so much more now.
Sounds like a good idea! I'll be going now.
But I would leave but the rope... the rope won't let me go... ;_;
Don't you mean, "Oh **** you're a strategist?"
Okay, we're going to have to use our heads for this one.
In a straight up fight we're going to die.
Reiko is a Mortal Kombat reference. Also. I made that portrait for a splice
competition. Twas nice, didn't win but it was nice.
(...I actually can't remember if I made it or not but I don't recall needing to ask
permission to make it. If I offend anyone, it is unintentional. But I do recall a splice
competition and making stuff. Gimme a break, i'm going back years.)
Now to wait. Those mountains look nice and safe.
Tekun's battle animation was done by me. Of course. It's in here too.
Now we'll wait here, our cushion should keep us safe.
You can't hit me? Problem. Also an interesting growth.
6 in a row is nice. We might survive this yet!
Can't dodge forever but we can try dammit!
Sometimes we need to go offensive to take down our enemies. Break them.
We leave our comfort zone to take down that annoying Archer.
But will we survive that Soldier?
Yes. Yes we will. All without using a single vulnerary.
So. Tekun has a bounty upon his head. I wonder why they think this kid is
such a threat? Honestly, I think the story could use alot of touch up and I'm
not sure if it holds up well. There's also spelling errors. Errors make me angry.
T...Tekun! No! You can't die! How will we progress!
GET IN THE DELOREAN!
VROOOOOOM!
Back in time to save a life. Okay. Let's do this right.
Wow. Really? That was all of them. With only 1 save state too!
And no healing!
MOM! I NEED TO GET TO PROFESSOR OAKS LAB! SET MY CLOCK...
OH GOD WHY ARE THERE SO MANY BODIES IN THE FRONT YARD!
It's okay, we're cool with murder.
Yikes... So... I'm a witness? Don't kill me! ;_;
Tekun is the last of a very violent and a very destructive clan...
despite that he seems to have an okay head on his shoulders.
And yet he wants to avenge their deaths.
I guess he feels lonely and wants to backlash at someone.
Well that covers that for the meantime. Now for a little info.
This Tekun and TLP Tekun aren't the same person or share the same story even
but there are a lot of differences between the two.
Character have this tendency to evolve into different things as you use them
and write with them more and more. Even my own current incarnation of Tekun
is different than either of those two. I suppose part of it also has to do with whether
or not the setting allows for the character to exist.
There's alot to say on the matter and I could spend all day more or less talking
about who the character is but I'll save that for another time or something. Maybe
a RP or story of his own.
That's all for now!
