This came to fruition from a simple statement I made 'Fargus should've been playable', so now I'm working on that.
Oh look! A recruitable Eagler! Have fun on figuring out his recruitment, I will say that all of his recruitment criteria is in Chapter 9.
Sweet, an incentive to play through Lyn's mode now! Eagler will ONLY be playable in Eliwood/Hector mode if you recruit him in Lyn mode. His stats are only a little above his boss stats, however, his growths on the other hand are quite stellar, so if you do bother to train him up, he can indeed keep up with a fully trained Sain or Kent.
Yeah, sure, I'm not a writer, I just like making cool stuff happen. Eagler does NOT replace any other playable, he's a fun extra, and the rest of the hack is supposed to follow suit in adding/changing, like Lowen now being the Cataphract class, which promotes to Great Knight, like Elibean Nights. 'Improving' the game is also a goal, like making Archers 'not' useless... although 'improving' is all based on my own opinion, so I dunno. Suggestions are welcome though.
...also I've no idea how to add new death quotes/battle conversations, else Eagler would also have a fun little battle conversation with Lundgren... ah, such is life.
Looks like Dart has someone to compete with now! On the other hand, this means there's no reason Legault can't be your Fell Contract candidate. There may be another Ocean Seal around somewhere, though...
Archers/Sniper now have more stats, and the three playable Archers/Sniper have more stats on top of that so they aren't so useless, along with that, Archers have Crit/Avoid + 5, and Snipers have Crit/Avoid + 20
first two screens are comparison of with and without +20 avoid.

also, murgleis and maltet, but they won't actually appear 'till some point at the end.
This is still a work in progress! So far, I have only made it up to the start of chapter 10, if anyone wants to try out the 10 chapter demo though, let me know and I'll put it up.

Wil - +1 HP, +2 Res, +1 Con, +5% Spd/Def/Res
Rath - +4 Lvl, +3 HP, +3 Str, +2 Spd, +2 Skl, +3 Lck, +1 Def, +2 Res. (mostly just so he's not useless in the main game)
Matthew - Promotes to Rogue instead, which is pretty much identical to FE8's Rogue, but due to lack of Pick skill, he instead has +20 Avoid
Eagler - Lyn mode recruitable!
Rebecca - +1 HP, +2 Lck, +1 Con, +5% HP/Skl/Lck
Lowen - Cataphract > Great Knight - +1 Str, +1 Spd, -1 Def, +10% Str, +5% Def
Sniper - +2 Skl, +2 Str, +2 Def, +1 to rest of stats. +20 Crit. +20 Avoid.
Archer - +2 Skl, +2 Str, +2 Def, +1 to rest of stats. +5 Crit. +5 Avoid.
All bows have +2 might.
