I've been working on my hack and I've been making good progress. Though I've noticed most of the mugs I insert have the blinking/speaking frames off to the side or to high up. Anyone know why this happens and/or how I can fix it? Thanks in advance!

It is most likely one of two things:

1) you haven't moved around the frames in FEditor Adv so that they are positioned right.

2) when you format the picture, you aren't being good in terms of making sure all the frames are aligned. Be sure to follow a portrait formatting tutorial closely so that you always get the right portion of the blinking portrait to make a frame out of, or else the frames will be a little higher or lower (by a few pixels, most likely) than you want.

If you show a picture of what happens in game and your portrait format, I could probably be a little more specific--that is, I might be able to tell which of the problems it is, in case what I just said isn't enough to help you.

Tried what you advised, but to no avail sad.gif. I have an image of how it looks in Usenti and everything looks like it checks-up nicely but I cannot re-position the frames in FEditor to the correct postions. Heres the image of how it looks in Usenti:

If you look at the frames then at the initial mug you realize they don't fit the lines the same way, hence why it jumps around.
To see what I mean, go into usenti, copy one of the frame bars, and try and fit it into the lines on the main mug, it won't fit.

Thanks Meguriai (sp?) biggrin.gif
the blinking and speaking frames on all my mugs made so far are working perfectly!

Another question comes up though (completely unrelated),
is there any way to load individual allies for scenes? I finished another chapter and tried loading two characters but when using the LOEV command they come up as NPCs.
