The Fate/Zero one was great XD
so was the first Code Geass one (and one other was good in the second season)
pretty much most of the One Piece openings except for one of them much later on and the 4Kids one(s) though I'm heavily biased because I <3 OP

As much as I ragged on the show beforehand, I loved the music. Pretty much hit memetic from fans from what I can tell.
That and the first ending have been nice additions for me for custom music in other games, when I get the chance to add them. (And as a hockey fan, this makes a perfect "goal song" for my custom team)

It's sad because the person who designed the characters for To Love Ru had previously written and drawn a fantastic manga called Black Cat which was about an Assassin running from his past.
The manga was semi-popular but the anime adaption was trash because they decided to make a prequel to the Manga instead of just animating the awesome Manga scenes.
And yet, for the last age and a half he's been stuck drawing To Love Ru, while not terrible, or especially great, I just feel is a waste of his talents

haha I can understand that, but I suppose if he's enjoying it and/or making money off of it, then that's that lol. I mean it's ultimately his choice how he spends it and it's possible he wasn't satisfied with how Black Cat turned out and that's why he was pressured into doing something with a... different appeal, to say the least, lol
just thinking haha, I'm not actually familiar with the content appeal but I understand the sentiment of letting talent go to waste/not reach its full potential or even close to it, lol

I can't really give an answer to this thread since my memory doesn't bother thinking about anime openings enough to remember them, but recently I've been rewatching the hell out of the dance in this one for some reason.
