1. No, no. Tile spam is over-use of ONE tile. You have too much of one tile stuff allot.

The slightly updated single tileset map from yesterday. Due to a few reasons I didn't have time to work on it, but I can today. Pretty much nothing is different from the other one, except I extended the left mid room by a tile and took out the statues, along with messing with the floor, as it was from before I got advice. I'm not going to try and pass this off as an update, but more of a placeholder.

Also, the square thing was because I felt like slightly indenting the wall. Does look weird though, huh?

^ Yes, since I'd rather have a fully "made" wall over some tiny space that's pretty much useless.
Still need to fix the other crap, like shading tongue.gif
Also, the right room floors should be changed to something else. Those "floor" tiles are actually for roofs XD

There is still tile spam. That square thing does look really weird. Some of the walls seem to be in places they shouldn't be... There are also still a few of the aforementioned door problems. (And the shading that Aura mentioned.)

Other than that, I see no more problems. Keep it up! (You matched the walls to the throne! YAY!)

Smashed is my old name, but I registered here as Leet. Later on, I changed to Smashed because let's face it, Leet is a very egotistical name.

First off, the video made me laugh... ALLOT. XD I like the sig, it is well done in my opinion. It is simplistic and well done.

Ahri and Akali, respectively, from League of Legends. I haven't touched these since summer, but if I can get through midterms with any life left in me, I might fish some stuff up. Specifically, Ahri's tails (and possibly her pose) and Akali's shading and pose need work, that I can think of. Also, their poses are based off screenshots of their ingame idle poses as opposed to their splash arts (the images I linked). if either Ryan posts here about something something league of bad game, then both owe 5$ each

Contest 1 Entry

The theme for Arim's first contest was epic hair, so I decided that the reason Knoll always wears a hood is because his hair is ridiculously unruly. That kind of counts, right? If I remember correctly, I did some of it by scratch and used FE8 sprites to pull bits of hair from for the rest..

Contest 2 Entry

The theme this time was a Halloween costume, so I took Rin's portrait from Immortal Shrine (aka my self portrait) and gave him a reaper's robe and a Risen mask. It was originally a generic skeletal mask until I showed it to Molly for input and she thought it was a Risen mask, and I realized that I couldn't let that opportunity slip by.

The shading on Akali's chest is wierd, I don't really know much about battle sprites but I think something is off about it.
The orb that Ahri's holding looks cool, but the area around her neck looks really wierd to me.
They look pretty good in general besides that.
