Anyone up for a debate?

Anyone up for it?
I'm afraid I have 0 knowledge of the newest installment as I do not own a 3DS, and Fe:4 still stumps me to this day. Probably best to go with the GBA ones upwards

Usually the format of debates was where both participants would choose a character and you would have to argue the viability of each throughout the game.
Obviously it's imbalanced if I picked Lyn (Lords are banned I think, she's an example) and you picked Renault from Fe:7 or something
But plot points and gameplay sound intersting as debates, not sure how to format them though

For Plot Points, it would be easy enough; you choose an Aspect of the Plot which is left ambiguous (such as, for example, the Identity of Lilina's Mother, the Father of Lugh and Ray), or something which seems far-fetched (such as Zelgius and the Black Knight being the same Person), and each either argue for one possible Candidate, or debate why or why not a Plot Point is implausible. |
That would be good for all the games except 4,7,9,10,13 since they don't have a completed game script available (on serenes forest) so it would be a gigantic nuisance if a plot detail is contained in the unlisted pats of the script so you would have to go play through the game just for that part. Though I do like this.

I quite like the plot points one, even if I might be very rusty on some of the plots.
I agree that the best way to play games is for fun, but sometimes I get way too engrossed in all the little details of them, sadly I've forgotten a lot of the stuff I did know about FE, may have to relearn it

Atleast a year and a half each I'd say, it wouldnt be so much learning new stuff as remembering old stuff

*flashback to "Who is Roy's mom?" conversations*
I believe in judgment of humans through their judgment of fiction, for nothing else tells better of their disposition freed from apprehension.

Side note: I'm not 100% positive, but I think Roy's genetic predisposition to red hair and blue eyes doesn't change regardless of who his mother is.
So, not really any point to argue over it at all that I can see. Ninian is slightly more implied in the plot, but that's about it.

We both take a unit from one of the GBA games, and we write an argument as to why they should be included in any playthrough, for viability, strength, utility etc
I would prefer Fe:6 personally, but I'll let the other person choose!
We'd also need an impartial judge to help decide the winner
