Today Pat Gillick, Roberto Alomar and Bert Blyleven will be formally inducted into Major League Baseball's hall of fame.
I just think that it took Blyleven much longer than it should have for him to be inducted.
Any thoughts?

Alomar shouldnt have got in on the grounds that he was a whiny baby and he spit in the face of an umpire

Eh, Hall of Fame is for stats, not personality (though don't even get me started on Pete Rose).
Besides, is spitting in the face of an umpire ONCE in a career even that bad? People have rough days, so saying he shouldn't be in because of that is kind of ridiculous.

Agreed. I might not like it that these guys with these angry personalities have the skill to get into the hall, I still think it's fine.
If the hall kept people out for bad character, Babe Ruth wouldn't be in it.
Anyways, I'm super happy for Blyleven. He's my favorite old time Twins player, and a fun telecaster (My sister got circled by bert once.)

upon further research on reading the mission statement of the hall of fame i admit i was wrong
however under the mission statement that it has, Joe Jackson and Pete Rose deserve to be in
