@  xcrash1998 : (21 September 2018 - 05:46 PM) I like games that actually reward you for reaching more difficult objectives.
A good example would be the golden ballon in Super Mario Oddisey it more like a trophy and less like an in game side note of what you did.
@  Fire Blazer : (17 September 2018 - 07:13 AM) but like yeah I get more trophies/achievements in games that I just happened to play more bcuz the game itself was fun or w/e and it's like oh ok i also will get these things just through doing the stuff i wanted to do anyway, that's cool i guess lol
@  Fire Blazer : (17 September 2018 - 07:08 AM) like they don't rly hurt but they aren't something of particular value, it's kinda like a fancy alert with a title that tells u u did a thing, it's not bad but im not rly one to go out of my way to obtain the validation of a video game through something that can usually just be done via spending enough time/effort on it

(getting to like the top X% of a competitive multiplayer game or smth would be a diff story, but in that case i wouldn't even want an achievement, i feel like just getting there should feel rewarding in itself, so... yeah, lol)
@  Fire Blazer : (17 September 2018 - 07:07 AM) yeah I'm not a trophy/achievement guy lol
@  acceptance : (13 September 2018 - 10:35 PM) That's just not incentive enough for me, man.
@  acceptance : (13 September 2018 - 10:34 PM) Plus with modern gaming a lot of the time the most you can hope for if you get all the collectibles is a trophy/achievement. Which I suppose is valuable to some people, but it's not gonna add anything to the game whatsoever.
@  Fire Blazer : (12 September 2018 - 05:58 PM) like yeah sidequests with an actual crafted scenario to them, post-game dungeons that aren't TOO much grinding/rehashed content, etc. are cool
@  Fire Blazer : (12 September 2018 - 05:57 PM) yeah I only like completionist stuff if it's like meaningful content/not super grindy but usually at some point it becomes kind of annoying so meh
@  acceptance : (11 September 2018 - 01:01 AM) Gotta love unforgivingly difficult super bosses. (Looking at you, Lingering Will.)
@  acceptance : (11 September 2018 - 01:00 AM) I cannot do the whole collectible thing. It always feel so tedious. Sidequests and EX dungeons are always fun though.
@  xcrash1998 : (09 September 2018 - 06:56 AM) So thats perfect for me
@  xcrash1998 : (09 September 2018 - 06:55 AM) I am rather obsessed with completing on 100% unless it is completely unreasonable to do so
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:51 AM) if they ever make a sequel/spiritual successor or the like at the very least it should have my attention, haha
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:50 AM) so yeah, great, great game overall, I even bought the expansion and played the heck out of that too because it was so much fun. Think I ended up almost 100%ing it (basically fully explored the map IIRC, not sure I did everything but at the very least I should have gotten pretty close).

and I'm not really a completionist either, so again... just speaks volumes about how fun the game was IMO.
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:48 AM) Awesome gameplay, sweet enemies, an overall interesting premise and plot along with some solid writing, even the soundtrack was decent for a Western game, lol... but of course, the VISUALS. whew. the game looks soooo good. couldn't help but take pictures even though I don't usually consider myself that kinda guy, lol. the environments and hyper-realistic look are just so visually appealing I was often kinda mesmerized, similar to how I felt with Xenoblade X.
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:46 AM) I'm surprised to have finally found some other people who have played and liked that game though. I was excited for Horizon: Zero Dawn and got it at launch and ended up basically binging it, IIRC even putting P5 on hold for a bit, because it was just so much fun.
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:46 AM) ouch @ potential april fools lol
@  Rujio : (02 September 2018 - 09:34 AM) Still an excellent game. One of the more interesting stories I've come across in a game, especially an open-world one, and some pretty solid characters and worldbuilding. The gameplay is fun and works really, really well in the setting, too.
@  Rujio : (02 September 2018 - 09:31 AM) Although that article is from April 1st and my google searches are not revealing any other evidence of a PC release...
@  Rujio : (02 September 2018 - 09:29 AM) Ah yes! I just played that game this past summer with my friends (who have a PS4) and it really was great! I'm really glad it's coming to PC so I can have it myself, and also because I've got some PS-less friends who would really enjoy it.

I didn't know what place I should do this if this isn't the right place I guess tell me to switch the spot, but I'm just wondering if any of y'all have gone to college yet and if you did what did you major in. Just curious what my Fire Emblem Family I guess I will say does. Like you in school still. Grown up out of college or what. Feel free to tell me some of your hobbies and such. Me I use to wrestle in school, loved it with a passion.

I graduated High school with a regents diploma and A certificate in Conservation and Equipment Tech with a Nocti which is basically really good its like a regents for school. And out of like 50 kids. more only ten of us got it me being the one with the highest for the test. so I'm certified in machinery work and logging and forestry. I mean I ain't the smartest person mainly grammar is what messes me up I'm bad at it please forgive if anything in this post is totally off grammar.

Besides that I go to church on a high occasion honestly. I'm an Pentecostal Christian most would put it. I view it as just being a Christian honestly yeah each branch of Christianity has different views I guess we can say but in the church and everything I still view you as my brother or sister. I'm usually not a violent type and tend to drop the conversation. I'm known for my kind heart and caring personality.

But yeah I am attending a Bible College that has a three year program and I get my degree my second year(Its called a Degree in Theology.) which Theo is one if I'm correct. And obviously ology is study of. So I study about God and Jesus and the Bible. I do daily devotions and all that. But I really want to know some of yall I mean it seems creepy I guess? May be?

But I do care who you are and all that. also for my college the third year is optional, I want to do it. I get to travel to different churches and all that and speak the word, and I get to go overseas with a team and people from my class. But yeah that's me I guess. Well hope for results thanks and hope you all have a blessed day!

Is English your first language, or is something else?

That was really hard to read. Try adding some spacing between topics and making several paragraphs. It's easier on the eyes.

I'm not one to give away personal information on the internet. But I will say that I'm female and Christian.

I like video games, but mostly own only Nintendo consoles (I have a PS2 but it's only to play my PS1 games that I've had since childhood.) I like the color blue, I like cats, my favorite Pokemon is actually Pikachu, and I like looking at pictures of space.

My main in Smash Bros 4 is Roy, with Pikachu being my second-most-used. My favorite FE game is Sacred Stones, with Awakening coming in second. One of my favorite video game genres is virtual pet sims. Not that there are any good ones on the market these days.

No I'm English all the way, I just forget to do paragraphs, ill try to remember. Its always been my weak point. But yeah for Pokemon my favorite is Lucario(besides Ash's Pikachu) Smash bro I love using Ike he is like a slow brute and its great. I have an Xbox 360 don't play much honestly. Ever since college, only Fire emblem 7 and Eight and some hacked Pokemon Games.

P.S Is that better? I added paragraphs why didn't I think of that.

It wasn't difficult for me to read the first time around.

Of course, it's me we're talking about here, though...

It was a little all over the place, but I could follow your first post just fine.

We're starting to get a good group of Christians here =p nice to know religion still has a place on the Internet. Most of the Internet is very unwelcoming when you say you're Christian(though I don't know why. Most people wouldn't recognize that I'm religious at all without straight up telling them that I am.)

Hey another Ike player. I love Ike man. Those smashes are just too good.

I've noticed that as well. This forum has a decent amount of respectable individuals on it, at least. All mature adults who are not going to immediately feel offended and attack over tiny things. lol

One time I mentioned I was Christian on another FE forum and made myself an enemy for LIFE. Dunno if he's still around or not but he found me on dA later on and I was like <<;;; *casually goes to block*

I've seen his posts on Serenes and he's trademarked his username now. lol

When I go to college, it'll probably be to become a website designer. I need to learn how to drive (but more importantly, parallel park) first, though. -_-

yeah I know Zac, people who are mean cause I believe in God are just ridiculous, I'm like I'm just stating who I am, I'm not going to put it in your throat. I mean if we get into the discussion and all that and they are willing to actually listen ill share and witness to them. But that is part of being a Christian also getting attacked because I believe in God. Its like I'm sorry if I offended you by saying God or Jesus wont happen again. Like I said I try to stay out of arguments and bring trouble. Cause you argue with one person then it always involves more then one person cause you can be friends with one person and them also and they have to choose between you or them. Get what I mean Man?

Also Leafy I'm sorry that people treated you bad on other forums and I noticed that quick also on here that people wont be like you are a Christian go die these people here are mature for sure from what I have seen so far. Also web designer is nice, and yeah to fix the parallel parking buy a smart car its easy to do(cause its tiny) just kidding that part is the hardest and most nervous.

Christians have been persecuted while the Bible was still being written. It's nothing new.

Yes I know this for a fact and I deal with it. Its part of the bible. I don't enjoy it. but with me i'm like they don't know better they aint saved or don't come to know Jesus. If you go in thinking being a Christian isn't hard and all that think again yes everyone gets it hard, for anything they believe but that's one thing that makes me upsets when a person it like a Christian shouldn't be treated like this, I'm like bro go read the bible and you will find proof. But that's me haha, even when I was a full pledge atheist I got treated Li crap by everyone. I've been one of them kids that everyone was just mean for no reason. But now I understand why and forgive them.

yeah it's kinda in the Bible that Christians are going to be persecuted against for the better part of...well forever really, so i'm not surprised in the least. it's annoying that the reason we're being "bullied"(couldn't come up with a better word, but that's not really what i want to say), but meh. let 'em say whatever i guess.

This may or may not be an attempt to redirect the topic from religion, out of pure wariness of discussing it on the internet. lol

Its always been my weak point. But yeah for Pokemon my favorite is Lucario(besides Ash's Pikachu)

Just... Ash's Pikachu? I mean, Ash's Pikachu is great and I love it far more than any of the humans in the show but that's strangely specific. XD

Ok we got more then ash's pikachu, Sparky(haven't seen in him awhile frown face:(...) but yeah ash's pikachu is different from most. Obviously but he knows how to talk to ash actually and ash understands him. By the way he says pika and that and he says it in a certain way, like he has a special way of saying misty(can't remember these) and dawn I believe and all of his mainly girl companions that's why he is awesome. Also ash's pikachu is the only electric Pokemon that can k.o ground types. Like Rhyhorn, Onix and that. (way off topic kind of but What do you think of Serena? Honestly I thought dawn was good but Serena is much different. And it actually truly shows that she likes him wasn't confirmed in others and she has known him the longest kind of? Do you think creators are thinking of putting them together and having ash win the Kalo's league? If you are up to this point?)

As I said, I don't like any of the humans on the show. My favorite parts of the anime are the mini-movies (Pikachu specials) because there's no humans in them at all.

In general, though, I have a loathing towards the anime. It's too stupid, childish, breaks its own rules, breaks the games' rules, and it's repetitive.

From what I've heard of the anime, though, Selena's backstory is dumb and completely conflicts with Ash's character.

Yeah the went to a pokemon camp together forever ago and she kept something for him that he gave her cause she got hurt. Its different, but they better not be like loses kalos league and completely forget about Serena. Like many others. And yes they make anime sometimes stupid and make nothing out of them. The Pokemon seem smarter sometimes then the people.
