Most of my closest friends have qualities that I despise. But I love them all regardless of their faults.

I was thinking that it would be good for me to convince my other friends on Skype to move over to Discord, but then I remembered that you can't actually talk to each other in there without being part of some mutual group, with this applying to private messages as well...

as long as you have someone listed as a "friend" on discord you can send them private messages without being in the same server.

I suppose now I just have to find out what people's discord numbers are, then.

btw mercu do you intend on coming back to the discord chat? They've cleaned up and made a more secure chat that trolls can't get into.
I notice a lot of people are getting hacked and sending links to something stupid. Thankfully, as internet-savvy as I am, I know not to click any random, suspicious links without any context, even from friends.

I'm kind of tempted to but at the same time it's a time waster that keeps me away from more important things...
...like finishing videogames. Although I suppose with this anime season not really having anything of interest adding the discord chat back as a distraction wouldn't be a big deal (I'm being distracted by other things without it anyway)
