@  xcrash1998 : (21 September 2018 - 05:46 PM) I like games that actually reward you for reaching more difficult objectives.
A good example would be the golden ballon in Super Mario Oddisey it more like a trophy and less like an in game side note of what you did.
@  Fire Blazer : (17 September 2018 - 07:13 AM) but like yeah I get more trophies/achievements in games that I just happened to play more bcuz the game itself was fun or w/e and it's like oh ok i also will get these things just through doing the stuff i wanted to do anyway, that's cool i guess lol
@  Fire Blazer : (17 September 2018 - 07:08 AM) like they don't rly hurt but they aren't something of particular value, it's kinda like a fancy alert with a title that tells u u did a thing, it's not bad but im not rly one to go out of my way to obtain the validation of a video game through something that can usually just be done via spending enough time/effort on it

(getting to like the top X% of a competitive multiplayer game or smth would be a diff story, but in that case i wouldn't even want an achievement, i feel like just getting there should feel rewarding in itself, so... yeah, lol)
@  Fire Blazer : (17 September 2018 - 07:07 AM) yeah I'm not a trophy/achievement guy lol
@  acceptance : (13 September 2018 - 10:35 PM) That's just not incentive enough for me, man.
@  acceptance : (13 September 2018 - 10:34 PM) Plus with modern gaming a lot of the time the most you can hope for if you get all the collectibles is a trophy/achievement. Which I suppose is valuable to some people, but it's not gonna add anything to the game whatsoever.
@  Fire Blazer : (12 September 2018 - 05:58 PM) like yeah sidequests with an actual crafted scenario to them, post-game dungeons that aren't TOO much grinding/rehashed content, etc. are cool
@  Fire Blazer : (12 September 2018 - 05:57 PM) yeah I only like completionist stuff if it's like meaningful content/not super grindy but usually at some point it becomes kind of annoying so meh
@  acceptance : (11 September 2018 - 01:01 AM) Gotta love unforgivingly difficult super bosses. (Looking at you, Lingering Will.)
@  acceptance : (11 September 2018 - 01:00 AM) I cannot do the whole collectible thing. It always feel so tedious. Sidequests and EX dungeons are always fun though.
@  xcrash1998 : (09 September 2018 - 06:56 AM) So thats perfect for me
@  xcrash1998 : (09 September 2018 - 06:55 AM) I am rather obsessed with completing on 100% unless it is completely unreasonable to do so
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:51 AM) if they ever make a sequel/spiritual successor or the like at the very least it should have my attention, haha
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:50 AM) so yeah, great, great game overall, I even bought the expansion and played the heck out of that too because it was so much fun. Think I ended up almost 100%ing it (basically fully explored the map IIRC, not sure I did everything but at the very least I should have gotten pretty close).

and I'm not really a completionist either, so again... just speaks volumes about how fun the game was IMO.
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:48 AM) Awesome gameplay, sweet enemies, an overall interesting premise and plot along with some solid writing, even the soundtrack was decent for a Western game, lol... but of course, the VISUALS. whew. the game looks soooo good. couldn't help but take pictures even though I don't usually consider myself that kinda guy, lol. the environments and hyper-realistic look are just so visually appealing I was often kinda mesmerized, similar to how I felt with Xenoblade X.
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:46 AM) I'm surprised to have finally found some other people who have played and liked that game though. I was excited for Horizon: Zero Dawn and got it at launch and ended up basically binging it, IIRC even putting P5 on hold for a bit, because it was just so much fun.
@  Fire Blazer : (03 September 2018 - 04:46 AM) ouch @ potential april fools lol
@  Rujio : (02 September 2018 - 09:34 AM) Still an excellent game. One of the more interesting stories I've come across in a game, especially an open-world one, and some pretty solid characters and worldbuilding. The gameplay is fun and works really, really well in the setting, too.
@  Rujio : (02 September 2018 - 09:31 AM) Although that article is from April 1st and my google searches are not revealing any other evidence of a PC release...
@  Rujio : (02 September 2018 - 09:29 AM) Ah yes! I just played that game this past summer with my friends (who have a PS4) and it really was great! I'm really glad it's coming to PC so I can have it myself, and also because I've got some PS-less friends who would really enjoy it.

Please forgive me if there was a topic like this already, I didn't see it so..... xD; again sorry if I missed it.

anyways, who did you marry? If you married someone different all 3 routes, tell us about all your husbands/wives and maybe a little about why you chose them! :D

As for me, I married Jakob 3 times. I just love his personality...he makes me laugh so much! he's so devoted to me I just omggg I love it ^_^ I admit I love characters who are just a 1 person kind of guy, since I am bad at sharing people I love hahaha.. I get jealous easily, and he seems to be the same way so we can relate. I dunno, I just find him relateable overall and think he's very funny/sweet.

In my next playthrough, I will play a character that is "not me", and I think I'll marry her off to Shigure--he's definitely my 2nd favorite guy, it's hard NOT to like him cause he's so nice. I'm not sure if I would marry him myself though... obviously if Jakob was a choice I'd go for him =D but if Jakob wasn't a choice, I'd definitely get Shigure. c:

so, how about you guys?

in general, you can talk about your lovely spouses here in this thread! feel free to discuss whatever you want about them :D I'd love to hear all about your adventures in FEF with your partner(s)!

I married Tsubaki twice. Other candidates are Izana and Shigure but the former has crap for STR and shows up way too late and it's hard for me to marry the latter because he has filthy Nohrian blood in him because it's hard for me to imagine not marrying Tsubaki, even if his supports with My Unit are utterly ridiculous.

I'm what some people may call a prude so lol, I didn't marry any of my characters until my 3rd route, Hoshido

and even then I only did it towards the end just to see what it was like... I think I had Corrin and... the red-haired chick... uh.... ... -_- >> << baaaah I can't remember her name HINOKA man that was hard

and Silas and Rinka

and...

that might be it, probably.

since I'm "boring" I don't really have any stories to tell, unfortunately. plus I think Robin is cooler than Corrin and Corrin isn't actually deserving of a partner. but that's because I don't see Corrin as an extension of myself at all, despite him being the "Avatar", while most other people seem to, but to each their own, part of the fun of games is how different people's experiences can be!

Male Corrin on Hoshido was with Scarlet, I think. Because that way I could actually get all the children. Their S support was at least also aware of how awful it was, which I guess makes it one of the better ones. Female Corrin I pared with Silas, because it looked like one of the few supports where romance would actually make sense. And then the S support was still awful, so :/

I'm prude too, which is why I never actually use the skinshipping feature. I also tend to ignore the children, aside from Midori. She's just so DARN CUTE.

Kaze in my Hoshido file. I spent quite a bit of time getting him to A because of certain story aspects, and then was like WELL WHY NOT JUST GO AHEAD AND S SUPPORT HIM.

uuuuh I married someone else in my Conquest file but I don't remember who it was.

Then I just gave up caring in Revelation and married Kaze again.

I still don't own the game but I absolutely know how this would have gone given the supports and my character preferences:

Assuming a male Avatar:

Birthright: Caeldori.  Then, when I confirm that the character from Awakening I found interesting was an accident, Scarlett as she can identify how absolutely dumb these supports sound.

Conquest: Flora.  Next.

Revelations: Beruka...because I must view all interactions of the Rei Ayanami-esc characters.  Shut up.  I don't have a problem.  You have a problem.

Assuming a female Avatar:

Birthright: Subaki (and proceed to laugh at some of the dialogue.  God damn some of the script is terrible at points).

Past that, I don't know.  The channel with all the supports doesn't have enough of the other supports to make a judgment call yet.

I married Azura in Birthright. It just seemed to flow story-wise, and I like the plot-parallels between them. I'm using a Female Avatar in my Conquest playthrough that I just started. I'm not sure who I want to marry. I don't really know who all the characters are yet on that side, so I guess we will see. Any suggestions?

haha yeah didn't touch that

lol, dat 1 character like tho

so basically you only have a heart for Kaze? XP

oh man, the thing you don't know though. (if you play Revelations, you should find out eventually; I won't spoil it or hint at what it is outside of the obvious "it has something to do with Azura".)

For Conquest... hmm, going for a Nohr royal would probably work out statistically, and Silas/Jakob/Kaze are probably never bad picks, but outside of that it's tough to say. If you want defense there's the knight Benny, and Laslow or Odin are probably solid physical or magical picks, but to be honest there aren't any stand-out options in my opinion, so maybe just go with whoever you like or your gut or someone that joins earlier.
