I'm gonna be honest with you guys and say this- I have ADHD, and it's nearly impossible for me to concentrate on large walls of text without getting overwhelmed- plus the giant tutorial on the main site is really bad to me. I just kinda want to know if any of you could help me out (we Skype, Steam chat, w/ever). I really want to be able to make a mod without having to rely on one of you to shoulder the technical work of it- but that'd mean either devoting 100% of my time to learning it, and pushing myself to painful conditions, and I really can't do that. I tried juggling this hobby and schoolwork, and music, and art, and just. Now I can barely handle schoolwork and sketching. I'm dropping advanced classes, but it's still a sketchy situation.
Sorry for the life story, I just want to be a bit open. If one of you could be willing to exchange Skype with me, or Steam, or whatever line of communication you think of, and you're willing to tutor me, just reply to this. Or we could just talk through this or another thread.
I live in CT, so EST is my timezone. We can try to work something out for the weekends/vacations if time is an issue.

I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as some of the other people on the site (blazer is fantastic though he doesn't mod anymore), but if you're cool with learning stuff that isn't assembly I can help you out. I can work with everything that nightmare and Xeld's editor offer, so that's plenty to make a basic mod. I do also know how to make new maps but I'm a bit fuzzy on the inserting them seeing as how I haven't done it yet. Anyway my Skype name is zaklerp. (pssst I'm really only throwing my name up here because I have nothing but time right now so I can help you out whenever. No school or job to distract me so I'm basically just gaming at any given time)
Edit: if you're talking about blazer's tutorial I can translate that for you. It's not very adhd friendly.

I could probably help you with most of the basic stuff. Ghasts tutorial videos are also pretty good, let me know if you want the links.

BTW, I take map requests if anyone wants to make one XD, just send me a PM and I'll most likely accept. If you wanna see some of previous work you can visit my gallery here, I'd skip to the end because I've improved alot XD.

I'll help, I've been an on and off modder for two and a half years now. Not the best at some things, but I do well enough to get by on most forums xD
