SOoooooooooo Bethesda had their presser today, let's discuss!
I've compiled some bare bones footnotes to remind you all what went down.
New Doom
-Lots of shotguns
-Lots of sweet melee attacks
Battlecry
-In the vein of Team Fortress, a zany two teamed multiplayer game. Less guns. More hammers.
Dishonored 2
-Female Protag with some sweet abilities and tech.
Elder Scrolls Online
-Some new updates with new ish, new areas throughout the next 365 days.
Elder Scrolls: Legends
-Looks like a Hearthstone competitor, free to play card game for PC and mobile. Set in the Elder Scrolls lore, obv.
Fallout 4
-Showed lots of concept art
-Interesting character customization system with facial sculpting
-Starts before the apocalypse, technically. Meat of the gameplay ends up starting 200 years after the bombs drop.
-You meet up with a dog that you can give commands to and such.
-There's a new Pit Boy!
-Speaking of Pit Boys, there's a Pit Boy model that comes with the collectors edition. You can put your phone in it and install an app to go with it. It connects to the game, etc.
-Build and create using parts you find across the wasteland, set up power lines and shit. People end up populating your settlements and you have to fight off attacks.
-Customization carries over to the weapons and such. Items you find in the world can be used to craft and add detail to your base guns. You can also do this with your own power armor.
-Fallout Shelter - It's a mobile game where you control your own vault and oversee the people and goings on in it. Similar to Progress Quest. It's free, with some in game purchases you can make. They seem to be optional though. (It's out now!)
Fallout 4 comes out November 10th, 2015.
They went pretty heavy on Fallout, understandably so.
So what's your verdict?
