Yes, I am doing away with the mercenary class(because it is broken 
) but it will only be used for the lords of this game.
Optional: I will create my own sprite for them, but not right now.

Decided what I am going to do as far as my Lords.
I have 3 different Lords in this game.
Scott/Ryan - Mercenary(Renamed Hero) and will promote to Hector Promoted (Renamed Vanguard)
Jennifer - Lyn Unpromoted(Renamed ?) and will promote to Lyn Promoted
(Renamed ?)
I also thought of where to put Eliwood's class.
Alexander - Soldier promotes to Eliwood Promoted(Renamed Commander)
??? - Eliwood unpromoted (Renamed Mercenary) promotes to Hero (Renamed Ranger)

For the renamed Lyn, I'd suggest either:
SwordsLady -> SwordMaster
or
BladesWoman -> BladeLord
or
Swordswoman -> Blademaster
just some ideas off the top of meh headdd

I'm not seeing the logic in hiding the story. It's the hack's concept.

It is hidden mostly due to the fact I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

That's a cool soldier of... chapter 7, I believe (my memory of the maps is vague), but man, is he weak... He's only doing 4 damage to a SHAMAN (shaman's usually have pretty low/next to no if not no defense...).

LOL, yes, it is Chapter 7. He is replacing Nils and I didn't do his stat growths(so his STR is utterly terrible).
Now, one quick question...how/where do I change "Seize Gate" to "Defeat Boss"?

^^^Changing the text is as simple as editing it or switching it using the Chapter Data Editor.

Alright, so I got the information bar to say "defeat all enemies" BUT it still says I need to Seize. Where exactly do I find this?

I have finished the maps for chapters Prologue-Chapter 2 so I just need to edit some minor events and the text and I will upload a public demo of Fire Emblem: Heart of Steel.
