Eh. I remember there was a fighting game for PS1 that had final fantasy character, forget the name, but it sucked. Was only in Japanese I believe. xD So yeah, Dissidia is definitely not worth getting. :/ FF is not meant to be mortal kombat style.

Women who play games = Hot. God bless all female computer nerds/gamers/otakus. 
And Square-enix with fighting games... Last time they tried, well... Ergheiz. XP And it had as cameos Cloud, Tifa and Sephiroth. And that was virtually the only thing it had others didn't. >.< Not many fighting games start with characters with fanbases that big already.
Dissidia is just like Radiant Mythology and Madden for me, a nice way to make the ends meet at the end of the month.

I don't care for this series. At all. Dissidia is actually the only one I've played that's been more fun than watching the same infomercial over and over and over again all day long. All the others are very monotonous and have poor, if any, story.

lol You know what I find annoying? When people play the newer FF's and make assumptions about the series. Seriously, the older Final Fantasy's had some of the most amazing stories.

I've played the older FFs. They were boring. YOU are the ones who shouldn't make assumptions. Although I do admit calling the storylines "poor" wasn't the best wordchoice. More like the story wasn't nearly good enough to save the games.

Wow, I actually enjoyed FFX-2. Sort of. I disliked the random generic anime poses, and Brother was annoying, but the storyline was pretty good, and the gameplay wasn't bad....there was lots to do as well...
I also liked Crisis Core, it's my favorite FF Story-wise. Simply a great game.
FF7 is fun too. I'ts pretty cool.

You automatically assume that I'm spoiled and make assumptions because I don't like a video game series that you like. I just can't comprehend why someone comes in, says they don't like the game, and the reason given is because it's boring, and no explanation as to why it's boring for them. If you actually contributed by explaining why you found it boring, it'd help.

Lol, monotonous pretty much equals boring. I guess you're talking about random battles. And the story I disagree with, but hey, that's my view. I think it has a lot more story than most games. And it's quite obvious there's no convincing people online.
