I just spent my money on renewing the domain (http://www.feshrine.net) for two more years. At the least, this means there shouldn't be any downtime with the address (that is, you should be able to access the forums and site at feshrine.net at all times). |
Thats wonderful, The Forum and site will be around for two more years well payed off.

It's great that the domain is renewed, as it'll allow us to keep on going for at least another two years, although I definitely hope we'll be able to keep on running the site and forums for a lot longer than two years

Yeah, but I don't like having the random worry of the domain expiring and then me being in a panic to re-obtain it. I'd like to keep the site going for a long time, although it's going to take some more people doing work on the mainsite than just me (or if I don't get multiple FTP accounts going, I can at least have people submit content). The site will probably go up until 2013, of which I will quit right around that year, and leave the site as more of an archive (just existing). By that time I should have enough money to keep the domain going for a long time, until I completely stop caring about it and the site becomes too old. xP

I suppose I can do some things... Depends a bit on what kind of information and data you want me to collect.
Something completely off-topc: Also, I've submitted some things on FE9 Fixed Mode data a while ago... it looks fairly bad like this, you know. Shall I format it for you, with tables and all (saves you some time, and gives me something to do ) to make it look better?

Come to think of it, I have to update my e-mail now that my hotmail has been hacked.

Statistical data should be of a lower priority at this moment, if you ask me.

Well, great! I think we'll be around more than two years, of course. ^^

But I'm glad you're satisfied with us, Genesis. Thanks for the compliments

As I said domains financially don't cost that much but paid hosting does, which is why I am not going to dwelve straight into paid hosting but rather I'm waiting until I have enough money to support us for at least a year and can assure myself that I can raise enough money past that.
Also, submitting money to help the site can be done by anybody... Although there is no official way to do it at the moment, I've been planning on making a paypal donation button for about 2 years now. :/

<__< Why, Blazer. I was going to use my birthday money to keep the domain. No matter …… I'll aid you still financially. |
I was getting quite anxious, I suppose. I'm the owner/creator and it's my job to take care of the site, not yours. I take ultimate responsibility and so I should spend my money if I can rather than a member spending their money. Also, I fixed the spelling of financially. xD

So I would say no, that's not the problem. heck the whole thing could all be related, with my computer being extremely screwy lately and having some huge virus. After all the reason why there was that weird guest post today was because of my computer acting funny, as well as my hotmail doing that weird thing and sending you that weird message with the same name, and possibly the cause of something else... Later today I am doing everything I can to limit my "Office Desktop"'s access to the internet and website so nothing else will happen, because I doubt I can keep up with anymore S*** as it is.
Heck, I'm not allowing any of my windows computers to do anything since it is a Microsoft/Windows-based virus. :/ Meaning iPod Touch is going to get abused, and I might even use my dad's mac. :/
