That soldier has to be the funniest soldier I've ever seen. Like damn, he stabs or slashes or whatever so fast it's like a wall if you get what I mean. I don't think I can see that many fps. XD
As for the portrait, the hair is kinda... like, mixed up, like it's all over and going all different directions.

Not sure if this is what you're still working on about her, but use more (or more different) hair tones. Right now her hair looks flat, shading wise.

Hmm, idk maybe it's just me, but I think you should make the bandage over his eye alittle thicker? It just seems weird to see that much of his eyebrow right there, or at all really. Plus the corner right there looks like you should still be able to see alittle of his eye. Looks pretty good I'd say though. Color scheme looks pretty solid

Sorry for double posting but i wanted to tell you what the update is going to feature on the sprites.
Masaki's portrait and sprite will change into Luke.
Kristina's portrait and sprite will change into Emily.
Both Luke and Emily are brother and sister.
Leo's sprite palette will change.
Crono will be redone to make him more evil.
Marth will be added to the game along with a custom portrait of him.
