it's possible it's just the wrong username or something due to the forum change, I would try using the "forgot my password?" thing and figuring it out, or I can check your username and reset your details for you. Making a second account is against the rules and you can be banned for it (because we don't want people playing games with multiple accounts or pretending to be two different people). If possible, it'd be cool if we just got your old account working.

 

Ahh, I see... yeah playing games with others (family especially) is fun, but I kinda feel you in that, my parents were never really into games and my siblings are less and less into it... anyway, sorry to hear that dude, wish I could help out somehow. don't get too down over it, sleeping and basketball are cool and school is important (maybe you're lucky enough to even meet some cool friends at school ) and ultimately if you're not enjoying a hobby, then eh, that's that, though again, I can kinda understand how sometimes you're pushed away from doing things if others aren't really supportive of it or whatever... like I'm 20 years old but I "still play games", lol...

 

and yeah modding is tough and super time-consuming, that's the biggest thing, not enough free time to do so much work and not even make money off of it, haha

The portraits are simple (I think the first two are just recolors?) but that's ok, as long as you like them and they aren't like, poorly done MS paint recolors, haha.  The last one looks like a cool splice tho, IMO! hopefully you make quick progress on this, good luck!

This sounds interesting though.  I'm always a fan of the story heavy mods to games.  The angle of the royal family abducting someone to become a prince is an intriguing notion...especially when it uses the extremely overdone "lost royalty" idea and turns it on its head.

 

I would highlight naming conventions and ask for caution if they follow too close to the writer's pen names.  Protagonist Matt and your account name, Matt Custov, are very close.  Assuming this is an author avatar for you (and possibly the other names for friends) and at least somewhat reflects your own personality and represents yourself in some way, there's always a very real risk of you favouring that character.  Not that I'm saying you will do that necessarily, but it's something authors gravitate towards subconsciously.

why the "lean away" from video games? just curious. writing is cool but takes so much strength and motivation, haha. and I'm different in that I prefer the creative/design elements over programming or graphical elements of making a mod or a game XD but they're all part of one big package, can't really escape XP

Honestly, I prefer playing games with the family, and because my family is starting to shun me, I'm just losing interest in really anything that isn't sleeping, basketball, and believe it or not school. But yeah, I think I try modding just to get that strength and motivation xD.
