I think IGN may have meant plotwise... hopefully they were joking, though. I'm pretty sure the announcement trailer made a big deal about how it was a brand new game with brand new characters.

I was going to say that there's no way Pikachu could work, but then I remembered the Nobunaga/Pokemon game. If you can put Pokemon in medieval Japan, you can put them in another fantasy world where magical creatures actually exist. "Can" and "should" are very different words, though.

I can agree. Pokemon in FE sounds really weird. Although, Link would be fine (As I have done that myself).

Yeah, I'm just glad that they didn't time-travelize FE with this game. Good work there IS. I would have been sad, as earlier stated, if it was indeed Marth.

I like most of the redesigns on the Dlc guys especially Leaf/Leif what have you and Roy and Marth. The redesigns look like getting some people that did some FE work before!
