No voice acting.

This is my ONLY complaint.

Fire Emblem would be SOOOOOO much more epic if it had voice acting. But i always feel like I'm playing some sort of quiet game where people don't talk.

At least if it had it for major cutscenes, like FE10, I'd be satisfied. But nothing so far. Maybe it will have voice acting but meh.

Like seriously, I like even the little things in Sonic and Mario games that are voice acted (like "LET'SA GO!" and "WOAH!" or "PLAY TIME'S OVER!"), even if it's not full voice acting. I'm not expecting something like Tales of Vesperia PS3 where like, almost everything has voice acted. No. Just something.

I mean imagine if you met a person who couldn't talk (such people do exist of course)... wouldn't you feel like you could never get to know them well enough until you heard them say something?

If you're deaf I suppose this is all irrelevant but meh, I've been granted two awesome ears and I'd like to use them for more than just music and sound effects! D:

Voice acting does indeed seem awesome, especially given the up in graphics on this one. The style really reminds me of Valkyria Chronicles, which has plenty of voice acting.

I guess they feel with the popularity of the series as a whole, combined with tweaking other issues and complaints about previous games that they didnt want to deal with the added time, money, and complexity of adding voice acting to the game

Besides, the series is popular, dispite not being known for pushing technilogical limits, like Final Fantasy

It just seems kind of old-fashioned not to at this point. As you said it's a major investment and I realize that Fire Emblem has a huge cast (thus having as many different voice actors as some games like idk, maybe a Suikoden game, which has 108+ characters, wouldn't be feasible) but at least the main characters should have voice acting for major scenes, like major battles, death scenes, chase scenes, etc...

Not that I wouldn't want the whole game to be voice acted, that'd of course totally feed my fan needs, and I'd love for like actual voices in the battle animations (instead of just hearing sword slashing all the time). But in terms of priority, major cutscenes -> lesser cutscenes -> in-battle -> other.

I know some voice acting missions go terribly wrong (esp. with English voice actors) so this is all assuming the voice actors are good and fitting to their characters. XP

I'm pretty desperate, if it was as decent as RD's I think I'd live... at least RD's was lulzy (though Mist's voice, urgh, killed me from the inside out)

I expect them to have voice acting, considering with the new style being so much like ToS.

Voice acting isn't a big deal for me. It'd be nice to have it though, but personally considering Fire Emblem's cast, I doubt there'll be any other than grunts and maybe something like: "Let's go!", "I'll try my best!" and such. Maybe for cut scenes too.

I don't want voice acting in my fire emblem. Sometimes its appropriate, but ugh. The possibility that it could be bad just makes me cringe.

Voice Acting on a handheld console is just pointless and uneeded, they didn't need voice acting to convey their story in the first 8 games, it worked out okay in 9 and 10 but wasn't too needed

Disgaea. Although, given the dialogue in that game, really any voice would work for any character.

Voice acting in Fire Emblem would be so cool.

It could show the different personalities of the characters and help to build a really good story.
