Why does the site constantly shut down on me? I know its not me only because i had Rein and another member come here when it was down.

Same here. It would work for the index page, but wouldn't load the shoutbox. Then nothing else would load anymore.

Happens to me pretty often the past few days.

happens to me sometimes too, it works really slow on firefox, but really fast on Internet Explorer, which is weird cause firefox is usually the faster internet unless its this forum.

I said the other night that Blazer said the physical server was temporarily down. A while back he said he had to move the site to a cheaper, less reliable server host.

Sometimes the server is down, other times it's slow. Since I don't have money to spend on my site, there's not much I can do.

Well, at least it's not as bad as FEU.

Having competent staff members who actually care to keep track of what is happening is great, although now I'm afraid someone's going to shoot me for using Jcink. (Yes, people are like that)

Oh so that explains it. Man why do ppl feel the need to do those kind of things? What does taking down a server accomplish?

They do it for the same reason people throw rocks at windows.

It gives them a kick.

And some people hold grudges against services or people. Like say if Jcink took away some website hits or business activity, or if one of the moderators there was a jerk to someone. It's stupid, but it's real...

Perhaps, if you had the ability, Blazer, try to get a different server. I know that you're probably tight on money, and we can live without, but it'd be great if you could.

(also if it was possible you should also get an SMS forum - it's a lot more customizable and really admin friendly, and my buddy Atrius made a little program that transfers all the posts y'know)
