Well, I dunno what happened but Oblivion Knight wasn't responding to my pm's so here's the set:



-Deadline is next Tuesday.
-Only submit your own work.
-Try not to have a billion colors, somewhere around 16 should be sufficient, all colors are allowed (meaning you can use colors outside of the colors of the mugs of the set).
-You only need to use two out of the three mugs provided but please take into account that incorporating all three mugs helps develop your spriting skills and increases your chances of winning.

If you want to judge pm Oblivion Knight.

EDIT:Actually, please send me the messages regarding judging. I've talked to Oblivion Knight about this, and it doesn't seem like he thinks he's running it now. I'm going to be running the sprite contest again from now on. Props to Sea Lion for taking the inish and keeping this thing rolling. Stay fresh, all.

Here is my entry for the contest. Took me a bit to do because Canas's stupid robe didn't want to fit right .

Anways his name is Chishiki, which is the japanese word for Knowledge.

Well, I think this one is ok to enter. Its not win quality, but...Well, you never get better if you don't try to overcome your superiors.

Sigh, my original idea is not working. I'll still have something though.

Edit: Alright here we go. The uber-shaman Canas. I was originally going to try and make a Pegasus Knight (female mind you) but the eyes didn't work. I was really close but it just looked awkward.

Ok, so the due date is past, and we only have three entries. Do we have a judge?


Let me say that I personally like Sea Falcon's best. The only thing I didn't like was his skin color, it looked a little to pale.

As for Raig, I liked that you didn't just splice all three together, but you did it in a way that was(In my eyes) Unique. I never would have thought of splicing two hairs into one. That being said, I didn't like the hair, at all, and it was cut off at the top, a little. Good things being, I liked the colors. They all seemed to work together, not against each other.


Now, if I have to critique my own work....Very original. All I did was splice one guys face with another guys hair and then the final guys armor. The Only thing mine has going for it is the fact that I took the time to cut the face into the armor, otherwise it wouldn't have looked right(And trust me, I tried a few different times to make it look right, with not so great results). Other than that, I did recolor everything, with the exception of the face, as this still eludes me and always looks horrible.

@richter Are you sure you looked at him right? His hair has not been cut off. Reason you can tell is because the base that I used the hair for is from Canas.

Sorry, my mistake. I'm just seeing the border ending at the hair line and miscalculating.

Hmm, I think this'll be my 2nd and last week I enter... at least for a while. Cant say the set looks easy to work with though...

ALRIGHTY. I'm judging this one folks.

The winner is Nayr with that kickin' turban. Makes me want to move to a desert and start a rebellion....not really, but it still looks kinda cool.
