Typical hard bosses with super hard ass final boss (as in like I had to use all my items and was really, REALLY close to losing, and just barely beat it... in retrospect I'm kinda amazed I won on my first try, I MUST BE GETTING BETTER AT YS GAMES). Also, a really sad ending and not just because my favorite chick in the game dies. DAMN YOU REALLY SAD ENDINGS.
Though I was a little sad that they didn't actually show Adol and Dogi (the main character and his "side-kick" so to speak) leave at the end--essentially, they're adventurers and travel to this place but the ending doesn't actually show them saying goodbye to everyone, which was kinda meh, I really like to see that stuff. They did it in like, every other Ys game I could think of too, so it was definitely disappointing, but oh well.
I think that makes... 5 Ys games beaten? Or I suppose 4 if you count Ys 1 & Ys 2 as one game... [/rant]
Next up, Twilight Princess...

It only took like 6 years (as in the game came out around 2006 at least according to the copyright and I know it was one of the first games I got... yeah, must've been at least like, 5 years, probably 6 or more >_>)
Game was... average. A bit long and boring and the colors tended to be dull and... depressing. I pretty much just will-powered myself to finish it for the sake of finishing it. The actual game wasn't that hard, or else I've just gotten smarter... >_>'

^Good game overall... has some notable flaws and the battle system was a bit bland IMO but in general enjoyable XP
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, 3DS, January 13th, 2013
Mario Hoops 3 on 3, DS, January 13th, 2013
Both very short games. The first I actually got because of the cameos from The World Ends With You, a game that I now adore (I've beaten the DS version and the Solo Remix version, the latter of which is slowly reaching 100% completion). The second is something I played because I thought it might be a little fun, and actually, it was. It was a lot more fun than I expected it to be (granted I didn't expect much) and the mechanics were actually pretty good overall. And as Square Enix worked on the game, I suppose that's understandable, and to boot, there's *SPOILERS* even some Final Fantasy cameos you get to play after beating the final basketball tournament XD. That was fun, though I got my butt kicked twice before finally beating them... lol
