The snow is junk in general for me. That's why I loved college, no snow really cause it was in the south. Which I love the south. The cold doesn't bother me anyway but the light hitting the snow burning my eyes when I walk outside out of the darkness kills I hate it so much.

Snow is great though. Like you get multiple layers on, lay down in a pile of snow, and just chill(no pun intended, although if you've got a big winter jacket on it can feel like you've got a little personal a/c unit). Dogs love the snow too. Mine used to basically dive into deeper snow, then jump around.

If it werent such a bitch to get around in, I'd be ok with snow all year round.

This is why I like living in the south. People everywhere else is like "SNOW SUCKS" but to us down here, snow is a treat and we love it. Every time it snows, I am outside taking 50 pictures of it. XD Not to mention, schools get canceled and snow is a legitimate reason to not come into work down here.

Ok people in the south are great but snow and them while driving is very very very very very scary at least the part I was in.... also I love taking pictures of sunsets and sunrises with snow around and of trees with ice and its reflecting the sun. But yeah I mean get a inch in the south and school is cancelled. We got a week off of college for three to five inches I believe ha ha it was like lets go to the café and chill and hang haha

That is why we cancel schools and call out of work. Nobody can drive in snow around here, so they don't even like to try. lol

The state I go to for college the people just in general are terrible at driving and then snow added is even scarier...i'm like well may die today. That's generally why I stay on the campus when it snows. Do you get your bread and milk before it snows.....(just kidding)(dont know if you heard that joke before)

You mean milk sandwiches? Of course! That's what all southerners do. :P We usually stock up on water, too, for whatever reason. Especially if you live in the country where well water is a thing. No electricity = no water. Better hope the power company gets around to you soon...

Actually, whether or not I get milk or bread before a snowstorm depends on whether or not I actually need it. Same with water.

people on the east coast stock up on stuff before serious storms too. because some of them will leave you without power or stuck in the house for a few days. there was a bad blizzard in maryland a few years ago that made it so i had to climb out my second floor window to get outside, and tunnel down to the cellar so i could grab a shovel to dig out the door. it was a massive pain in the ass.

It really is. Nothing like visiting the store and finding the entire bread section wiped clean, as well as the milk section. I lived in a relatively rural area and the water section would be cleaned out as well thanks to the large number of people with well water.

Yeah, especially here in Georgia. The entire state would be one massive forest if it weren't for humans. Droughts make the trees put their roots near the surface, and then heavy windstorms like hurricanes and the like can uproot them easily. Then they wind up falling and blocking roads or knocking out power. (Or both.) So yeah, we tend to stock up on milk, bread, etc for those, too.
