Yeah I'm almost glad I missed it... Coach already mentioned that their game was Ajax unworthy, although Salzburg of course did a great job, there's no denying that!
Let's just hope we can at least play a good game in the away leg.

United were so abject I actually felt bad.
Dortmund - Zenit has to be one of the most entertaining yet low quality games I've watched in a while. Both teams were a shambles but 2-4 can't complain.

Lovely goal. He was great at Betis last year, told my friends to look out for him tonight. However, the game killed us. Just awful. Utd are an embarrassment.

Ajax were embarrassing again yesterday. Did see BEAUTIFUL free kick in the Benfica game though! Panenka free kick ftw.
Also an honorable mention for the Dutch guy Huntelaar in the Schalke - Madrid game. Schalke got destroyed, but Huntelaar scored the best goal of them all imo. Just sick.

Yeah, that FK was brilliant. Benfica also scored a lovely goal earlier on in the week too.
Some great goals from the past week.
Including the Huntelaar goal, Gaitan FK, and Markovic goal I just mentioned.

Sunderland played so well for the first half as well. It was so sad seeing two moments of ridiculous genius destroying all their momentum.
Stupid City.
Spain played really well in the game against all things considered, was a weakened Italy. Silva played so well, Spain might forgoe brining any strikers.
Rooney looked awful. Lallana and Shaw should start, **** this bullshit notion of 'International Experience' Shaw plays week in week out against seasoned professionals and internationals from all countries and he's only 18.
Hodgson won't do it though,

I'd actually love to see Gibbs play if he's fit, really rate him. Shaw is great too. Love Lallana.
Don't want to see Andros yet, he needs to develop more, right now he does the cut in -> shoot far too much.
Woy is crap. The England team isn't fantastic, but he's crap.

Didn't see the England game, but yes, Shaw and Lallana are both great. Shaw is already a great player imo, and has potential to become so much better. Lallana is just a great player too, quite a shame if he didn't play.

Read up on it, holy crap, that's quite the comeback.
I don't follow or watch much soccer but I'm used to hardly anything happening in extra-time, lol. It's usually like "oh my gosh only X many minutes left they have to scooooore" but in the end nothing happens haha. Like I said though that's just from my experiences, I'm sure there's been plenty of big plays towards the end of a soccer match, I just happen to miss them since I only watch soccer when somebody else is watching soccer/it happens to be on really XD
