Leona released herself from Skyler's grip and climbed a concealed tree just to keep watch, or in the case of an attack, get a good escape point.

Zel looked at Skyler. "They're after you, huh? Looks like they are going to be here for quite a while. We're going to need to get out of here...there's way to many for just us to handle." He sighed. "Listen. I'll distract them. Use it to get the hell out of here. I'll catch up later."

"Heh..no way." Skyler said, hitting Zel over the head with the blunt end of his sword. Not hard enough to cause unconsciousness, but just to stun for a moment. "This is my fight." He muttered, pushing Zel towards Cecil.
"Take this time to run. You should take it." He said to Cecil and Leona, as he stepped out of the buildings shadow.

Skyler slashed forward, but Josef ducked under it. Josef spoke to Skyler in a soft, menacing tone, "I've been looking forward to this for quite some time. Ever since the King put that bounty out on you, in fact."
"Heh..that old thing still out there? It should have doubled it's worth by now." Skyler joked, sweeping his leg out. Josef jumped over it, and landed on the back side of Skyler, sweeping his blade toward his midriff. Skyler twisted around, and caught it on his own.

Cecil looked at Skylar and Josef fighting and said "Good luck." He then sent his horse towards the man Skylar was fighting, and took off running after Leona and Zel and Kraan.
Edit: Cecil upon catching up to them, and after a safe distance away stops them and says "He mentioned he had a brother in a nearby town, and that it was his destination. I'm sure he won't die, and if he goes anywhere, it'll probably be there."
