-First some units sprout at the castle above, attacking the place and forcing you to defend it, then the next turn more units spawn from the castle and some from the forest below, the ones in the forest below appear at the beginning of the enemy phase because the have to cross the forests (These are foot units).
-Later in the chapter, bandits appear from the ruins and start to move from towards the fort and some pirates to the village above, if you sent a unit to the village you're fine, but if not you lost that treasure, plus if the pirates destroy the village they can cross the river and help the invading units from the castle.
-Also later in the chapter Cavs appear from the small island that you have to cross the bridge to get to, since they (story wise) can't travel well through forests.
-Also the propose of forts is to more or less obstruct the path so that the can stop armies. It's just that in FE you have to make a unit go around and they can't go through it. XD

My only problem with the map is that it seriously looks almost nothing alike barring basic shared tiles and the fact that there's a fort and ruins lololol

So Tiled lets you load two tilesets at once, so I loaded a village tileset and a Castle one and made the Village + Castle map I've always wanted to make.


This won't be removed until Chile wins the World Cup - Started 24/06/12

Just in case you didn't know, maps that use multiple tilesets are completely uninsertable, even if you only actually use one tileset to make the map and the other as a sort of "reference" (in the case of the intended palette making it really annoying to see, or something.)
I do think the map looks nice, though. Aside from how the arena trees kind of awkwardly have a different color to them.
I believe in judgment of humans through their judgment of fiction, for nothing else tells better of their disposition freed from apprehension.

Lol I knew, it just bothered me that I couldn't make one in Mappy, so when I figured out I could in tiled, well....
Also I didn't notice the treesm that's for pointing thatout.

The doors of the houses are obviously viewable on the sprite, so looking on the map it would seem villagers would be very close to a cliff and most likely wouldn't reside there in fear of the earth wethering away.

Move the red circle'd houses up a space so they're not so close to a cliff/river, while push the house and vendor up a space so they're not directly behind the village. Possibly remove the forest between them aftwards.

Any way, I was bored this week so I started messing with the Mage Knight sprite to make it cooler. I ended up semi-making Felix (Oblivions OC) and making Snow.
Both together:

Here's a sheet of Snow's Class, Blood Knight, basically an offensive Mage Knight that uses Anima and Dark magic.

BTW, while they may look like just recolors they are not. I did move some small stuff around, mostly just so that I could have more colors but the point stands. Snow's sheet has 16 colors, but I'm not sure about the Felix sprite... I have too much free time XD

Not that proportions and various map elements and the such are overly realistic to start with but it could probably be avoided by better placement
Also cool sheet but Kuomo what do you mean no way to put it into a script? and what does "play hybrid classes" mean?

There, hope I fixed it. Also I'm pretty sure Kuomo means classes that can use magic and normal weapons, like a Magefighter.

Edit: Might wanna do something with the three chests in that room, like add another to make a pattern like:
BCBC
CBCB
Or:
CBBC
CBBC
with B being blank and C being chest, as otherwise, it looks weird IMO to have two chests so close to eachother with one further away without there being a pattern.
That probably made no sense, sorry.

I found two things you can do with FE7 tilesets that you can't in FE8!

1. Make a map with a field (rivers and mountains) and a village.
2. Make a Village with a river going through it (as seen below).

I have one problem with this, and that is that the palette for the boat is kinda messed up in this tileset, so I can't make it look like the water is rushing against the bridge, also I got kinda confused while making the water (
