Looks pretty cool but I personally think it'd be cooler if Samus didn't look so much like part of the background but that is just me. I would have preferred a more distinct outline to her and everything. It still looks nice though.

Berserk is the name of an anime, IIRC. Just pointing that out.
And that's the same idea I got when I looked it; I just couldn't explain it very well so I substituted the word 'meh' in there.

You could try to make the white a little more grey so it doesn't contrast so much, or use some program to decrease the brightness as a whole.

Actually, using greys usually doesn't come out very good unless executed very, VERY well. It's always safer to go with a low saturation red to go with the bolder red already in the image. Grey is an annoyingly difficult colour to work with...
I would also make the black have a red tint to it. Enough to make it red, not so much to make it, well, TOO red.

If you know a decent amount about art you'll probably be fine... Pretty much all the general dimensions.
You know instead of judges we could just have a forum vote. That way people can't complain about judging, we don't have to wait for judges or set an outline as to how judges should judge, etc...

The forum vote does sound better, but if we do have judges, it would probably work better to have 2/3 so if someone hates one of the art pieces for no reason, they can't just kick out a perfectly good artwork.

# of judges depends on # of entries, anywhere from 2-3. I'm going to enter despite the fact that I know I'll get pwned because I figured more people will be willing to judge then to participate and I want this to be successful.
