That depends on who you listen to.

If you just play the game without hearing anything (as I did, it was my first FF, and I got it second-hand for a tenner xD), it's very enjoyable.

If you listen to haters/fanboys, it changes your view of the game completely.

Yes, it is a good game.

No, it is not the BEST GAME EVER, as the fanboys will say.

I've played a few FF, and I want to play/get FF7, FF13, and FFV13(cause the KH2 team is working on it and FF13. And 7 has Tifa in it.). What console is FF7 for.

There's also a PC version, but it's pretty rare.

I just had to sell my PS2 a little bit ago. I'm gonna get the remake and the original I guess. Do the new PS3's still support PS2 and PS1 games?

I played all the pre-playstation Final Fantasy games. My favorite was FFV. However in comparision to my other favorite RPG series Phantasy Star. I perfer Phantasy Star over Final Fantasy
