Anyway. Let's start the chapter.



Asch...Chainsaw. Groovy. Also for level 10 you're quite lacking Logan.

Let's visit a house.

Meanwhile Karina visits more houses.



...Only to listen in on someone singing. She gives us tools to
murder people with in return for not telling anyone.

Also she levels, enemies ambush us from all over. It's an interesting chapter.

Considering I never went this route. All this is new to me. I played through it
extra carefully as to not miss anything. Sometime later this happens.



...And then kill the others too just to be sure.

Althares and Kelik return in this chapter on the far end. They're strong they
can handle themselves. Kelik, visit the village.



Now whose this kid with the weird hair?

Now why is he begging to come along?



This kid has heart... and wants some vengeance. I don't blame him.

I'm routing for you kid!



Here's what I think about Itsuke.

Itsuke is a mage that levels well. He has a focus in his defenses. He will
become tankier than Cia, however Cia will be faster in the end while her defenses
won't be as good.

Either will end up good and either work. Itsuke will get some use.

Also Blue hair.



Growths here. No snappy comments here... Keep moving.

Okay. Seriously, time for my thoughts on Asch.

Asch is the only early axe user available to you. He's a pre-promote and tanky
enough to stay alive in fights. He can serve as a meatshield if you need to.

Asch is a veteran soldier. The hardass type who'll keep you in line and keep you alive.
The kind who will show the green the ropes.




Karina talks with Kelik here, they have a long talk...

Karina is revealed to be a trusted ally of Kelik's. One of the few people that
Kelik is willing to trust. She's also a member of the Legend Mercenaries.




Anakin and Kelik talk. Kelik is too busy trying to kill things to deal with
pleasant talks. GET A WYVERN AND BECOME A WOMAN ANAKIN!



Althares hits max level for the time being. He'll be on when we need him now.
Like when shit needs to be stolen.



EVEN IF IT MEANS GROWING A PAIR AND SHAVING MY HEAD!



THE BOULDER WAS SO PLEASED BY THIS THAT THE BOULDER
GREW AN EXTRA LEVEL THIS DAY!



Someone doesn't like Anakin x Logan...



Karina must be a fan... But I think she took her protest too far.

These two absolutely hate one another... Also Kelik tells Anakin that
Siegfried was captured because he's bad at doing stuff like life.

I loved your extension of Asch's metaphors and Karina's fangirling, not to mention Siegfried being captured because apparently storming every enemy camp you come across is a bad idea.

Let's see what's up. Shall we?



How did it go so wrong? We've chosen Logan's route! WAH!

Bad guy going on about ambushes. It seems really piratey.



So, Logan leads us right into the heart of the enemy ambush. Greeeeat.

Then they tell Logan that they won't give him his Girlfriend back.

Worse yet, they tell Logan to suck it up and fight.

...Girly guy has a pair.

Alright, let's start the show.



Logan is still silly fast. Low level, low stats. Could be promising maybe...

Also Pirate. On another note, the only growths that will be posted are Logan's.

Nothing else stays so why should it matter?



The house to the immediate north gives us a secret book.
Additionally that Axereaver we have is handy.

Granted people complain about having no axe users, you do have
plenty of anti axe weapons. I can deal with it though variety is nice
I suppose. I prefer characters I like.



Karina tells us the obvious, at least Anakin... Hey, is that Logan running towards us?



LISTEN UP BROTHER! KEVINMANIA IS RUNNING WILD!
THE BOULDER WILL SHOW YOU PAAAAAAAAIN. AND THEN WILL
TAKE YOUR WOMEN AND "PULVERIZE" HER TOO. WITH THE
BOULDER'S LANCE! SHE'S WORTH "EXP"!



I personally like this option better than recruit Asch. A lot more feels,
a lot more satisfying to kill the man who staged this all. A lot less tragic.
Also, I like this map better. Sue me.

He comes with different things though.



THE BOULDER IS COMING FOR THE WOMAN!



Now this. This was disappointing. Out of every specific battle conversation
there would be in the game. Logan doesn't get one against the man
who abducted his girlfriend. I'm saddened by this...

At least the axe is tasty.



I'm not quite sure why Kelik gets one over Logan.

Logan gets the kill. His quote kinda reminds me of something out of Star Fox.

So! Let's see how Logan did!



...We're not missing much.



The ending of this chapter also ends with a little less quarreling between these two.
So I guess that's nice.

Also, Anakin more or less is just a walking mouth. But he let's people act again
so I guess that's fine.



Logan supports these people, the last one there is a Pegasus rider by the name of
Lirin. We'll be seeing her next chapter.

YAY! I was gonna do Logan's route in my current playthrough and all my units are promoted 'cept Shon, Ace, Anakin, Eduardo, Cia and Althares cuz most of them aren't level 20.

Nah, some swords are used to simply cut, perhaps destroy, or even protect. Its "twin" sword if you will, of the opposite nature, is the Divine Sword, which adds +2 to defense. It's used to protect. Sure, most any sword can be used to kill, but they aren't necessarily all intended to do just that.

Sorry about the battle conversation. *throws the "I'm not perfect" excuse out there when really I just forgot/neglected to do it and don't feel like doing it now*

Stephanie is actually terribly ugly which is why she never shows up (the game would reset)

and both of the (somewhat recent) chapters were awesome, can't wait for more. WORK FASTER >

Not sure this goes in here at all, but I've read KevinxLirin C support and its too cute! No spoilers from me and already A supported Kelik and Karina.

Edit: Few minutes ago, B supported Kevin and Lirin and, I see wat u did there Blazer.

Edit 2: I checked the support room and, Shuuda is an archer, not a merc (WTF?) and I also checked the sound room, and I have all the songs even though I didn't finish the game yet.

Actually looking back he walked in on Anakin sleeping, they then discussed planning.



Anakin made a comment about Kelik.
Weren't you judging Anakin based off appearance a chapter or two ago, Kelik?



This mysterious bad guy is even more of a dick.
It's okay I guess, mooks don't have families and are a dime a dozen.



Something happens involving a messenger.
Kelik acts like a complete asshole.

I really should go back and test this chapter to see what
happens when Althares is dead.

I went back and checked. Althares shows up regardless of whether or not he dies.



Karina: "My only complaint is that you seem to take your time with things."
Me: "So?"
Karina: "It's just that it's bad for morale. It's almost like you avoid doing things
intentionally just to prolong a battle. People might think you're enjoying this
war a little too much."
Me: "...You'll give me a gold star if I do better though right?"
Karina: "Show a little improvement and maybe..."
Me: "GOLD STARS!"



8 grand just laying about. Well. I can't complain. You did it quick enough.



Itsuke does not get any gold stars today.

Lirin mentions that she knows Lena and thinks she can persuade her to step down.



I've never used Zach or Lirin before but I suppose there's a first for everything.
THE BOULDER NEEDS HIS WOMAN!



I don't understand Lena's motivation here. Maybe she is too afraid to join them or
maybe they have her hostage by some other means. I'm not sure but it's painful.

Sometimes things just don't go as planned.



Meanwhile Cia becomes an unstoppable force.



Only fitting. I'm sorry Lena.



I can't imagine there being more inside. The castle isn't a clown car.



But I do have a plan for everyone if I do have to.



Also we get this follow up if the soldier survives.

Lol, gold stars! The best reward for good tactics. Also, holy crap, Kelik is good at finding gold. Lastly, agreed with Ryan, the yellow looks nice and will be found pleasing to the eye of THE BOULDER. Keep up the good work!
