Boycotting the DLC simply for it being censored? lol If you ask me, Cordelia's CG is more revealing than Tharja's ass but that's just me.
Secondly, I don't see the point of censoring like this between versions. Clearly someone can simply go onto google and easily find the noncensored CG. I mean it's not like she's nude. I don't really see the point of censoring the DLC. The Boycott is fairly over the top but it'd be cool of Nintendo to uncensor the CG to make more of the fans happy.

I'm not boycotting it, nor would I. I'm simply not buying it because I haven't even played my 3DS in a while. (Been busy as hell)

That boycott is so dumb. I sometimes lurk the gamefaqs forum (post very occasionally to answer a simple FE:A related question) and I can assure you that you haven't grown out of the series. You've just grown out of gamefaqs.

You know the CG looks more lewd because with the text box and not in 3D it looks like she is wearing nothing.

But anyways found out there is a Chrom and Cordelia convo in summer of bonds and that is rubbing salt in the wounds of people who wanted that pairing. I particularly don't care about it but it made me not like that part of her more, for some reason.

Problem is, it's the weakest side of her personality. I really feel less would have been more. It's because of the way the supports are written, you basically have to avoid all mentions of it until romance starts, which is only a single conversation. If maybe they had "S part 1", "S part 2", and so forth, which appear over time after unlocking the S support range...things could have ended up better. As written though, the side of her personality dealing with that is reduced to nothing but a very simple "brought up and dismissed" situation. It's no coincidence that the best sounding conversations are always the ones where they avoid any mention of Chrom with her. There's little interesting conversation or dialogue to be had because with a limited potential concept. That, plus the entire conversation kind of reduces her own personality to the easiest, simplest cliche when confronted with her ideal situation.

But IS wanted their Catria clone, so they had to put that part in, right? I mean, heck, she even had Catra's hair colour originally.

(And, you know, all the min/maxers would have made their Chrom/Cordelia pairings. It's way too statistically awesome on Lucina's side)

Though, I'll be honest, the dialogue they threw in for her and a married MU husband more than make up for it. While all the married couple dialogues are interesting, but this one probably developed the named character's personality the most.

I know I shouldn't be surprised, but that boycott sure is dumb. I mean, if you want to see a character's butt so bad, just go search for it online. Given that it's Tharja that we're talking about, finding images featuring her butt probably isn't a challenge by any stretch of the word.

I think what bothers me most about that censoring is how lazy it is.

They seemed to have just lazily photoshopped blurred cloth over it, instead of say, actually drawing cloth to censor it or something.

I'm just not buying the DLC for that to begin with due to lack of interest, though.

@kirant no, no, you're fine, and if you look at the poll, most people aren't stupid enough to "boycott" it, I think they're just butthurt and want people to pity them and/or they're just huge perverts or something, it's really silly and childish to the point that I wouldn't even pay it much attention

Also like Ryoku I haven't had a ton of time to play FE13 but eventually I'll destroy all those spotpass teams and play all the new maps and stuff. And start a new playthrough, maybe. All in due time XD

Also Oblivion, I think it'd be silly for Nintendo react to such a childish "boycott" by the fans. Besides, companies usually don't do that--they usually stick to their guns and go with whatever decisions they make, which is why making good decisions in the first place is important. I bet they're not so ignorant to not consider the fact that some fans would be disappointed by the censorship--they probably just weighed the pros versus cons or something and decided it'd be better to have it censored. How I feel is "whatever, it's their choice, and I wouldn't really care if people didn't point out the 'issue'". XP

EDIT: I also think the whole Cordelia drama is silly but people can care what they want to care about, I think that in the grand scheme of things it's really minor and doesn't detract from my enjoyment at all unless I let it/want it to XP (tl;dr opinions)

OHHHH. About how they can't get married/don't even have a supports that'd end at A. While it would've been nice for Chrom to have more marriage canidates, I don't see it as such a huge deal.

The scripts would probably be uploaded online soon enough.

I know the Miriel/Sumia convo references Scooby Doo but I don't know much besides that. There's a lof references, and the CordeliaxMale Avatar (married together) convo is pretty heartwarming.

I agree. It's probably my favourite single conversation in the entire game. Some small complaints on Male MU's dialogue, but it's a major high point IMO.
