"All right, so we go in, take out any resistance, and trash the engines huh? Sounds easy enough." Layle made sure of the objective before getting his rifle in the ready position.

"So, we just have to mess with engines, keep this op in play huh? Sounds easy, but I heard Bion shields are extremely tough, so I'll have to just focus fire on one until it dies." Layle thought to himself.

As the door opened, Layle had his finger firmly against the trigger, ready to open fire at a moment's notice if needed.

[Ristau]

Z, Layle and Storm made it pretty close to their objective without encountering any resistance what so ever. "Hey, that's where we're headed." He pointed to a large double door walked over to it and got ready to open it. "I'm going to open the door, and you guys are going to slip in. I'm going to try to find some sort of terminal or something so that I can possibly shut all the Bions down at once and maybe salvage the ship or atleast make this operation a little bit quieter."
Z opened the door, and as soon as Layle and Storm entered, he shut it. He then walked over to a wall, when he heard some noises behind him. There were Bions right behind him! He tried his best to hide, but it was no use; they already spotted him. He hoped that he could take them by himself, but it was no use. Z surrendered to the Bions, but not before sending a message back to Thalisar a distress signal with a multi-tool he kept on his arm.

"Storm, you have any idea how to damage these things a lot or at least mess with them?" Layle asked.

Layle had to focus on the mission, deal with the engines, get rid of this problem.

Hoping Z was all right, Layle started looking for a critical part of the engine cores to shoot and cause some hefty damage and a nice dent on the Citadel's resources.

Ross and Lambda were plowing through the Bions on their way to the bridge. Bions had strong armor which caused some distance to be made between Ross and Lambda because Lambda was focusing on killing every Bion in sight while Ross was focus more on getting to the bridge.

Lambda shot a Bion in the back of the head and watched him crumple to the floor. "Ross how far are we from the bridge?" Lambda asked looking in the direction where Ross was. He was at the end of the hallway shooting a Bion. "Huh, that's a lot of distance between us. I should stop focusing on killing them." Lambda then was about to run to Ross but got shot in the right elbow. Lambda turned and saw 3 Bions ready to fire behind him. Lambda's right elbow was damaged and was unable to wield his rifle properly and there were too many Bions for him to take on with his pistol. He immediately turned and ran down a corridor next to him making sure to dodge the fire coming at him form behind. Getting hit in the right fore arm, Lambda was able to put enough distance between him and the Bions for him to hide in a room without them seeing him. Thus the Bions ran past the room he was hiding in loosing track of him. "Good thing I got enough distance." Lambda said while looking at his burnt right arm. "Well this is going to be troublesome. I hope Ross can handle himself. I'm going to have to avoid detection." Lambda then stealthily left the room he was hiding in.

The inside of the enemy Bion frigate was getting hectic. Only a few Bion marines had been defeated, and yet as the sirens sounded aboard the ship their numbers were only increasing. The strategy would need to be rethought; these Bions weren't very numerous for soldiers, but each one was extremely formidable. The crew was taking heavy damage as they were scattered aboard the frigate; Z was captured, Lambda was crippled, and Ross was waiting for the rest of the team to meet up to assault the bridge. For better or for worse, Layle and Storm had done enough damage to the Galister's engines to draw the attention of a large contingency aboard the frigate; they had to make their escape quickly lest they be surrounded and eliminated in the process. The plan was quickly going downhill, and to make matters worse the Bions had began equipping themselves with their trademark concussive launchers. The Bions meant business. The team needed to figure something out quickly, lest this be their first and last fight.

Meanwhile, the Dread Starr was holding its own against the enemy fleet. Keeping its fire away from the Bion flagship, it was wearing on the shields of its escort vessels. The banshee was having a hard time getting in range to warp in Bion marines aboard the Dread Starr. Selene managed the weapons systems of the Dread Starr admirably; Thalisar had already planned to commend her were the crew to survive this engagement. The Captain knew what the crew were facing; he gave them monitors to keep track of their progress, and he realized they had all been scattered. Realizing the severity of the situation, and amazed that not a single member had yet been killed yet, he sent a transmission to the crew.

"Ross has not yet reached the bridge, he is in a storeroom awaiting the rest of you to regroup to assault the bridge together. Forget the engine, the flagship is not going anywhere. Regroup to Ross' coordinates and follow his instructions, he should be able to lead you to victory. Do not underestimate these Bions; the few that you had taken down were fresh, and even then they've damaged you to this degree. The veterans will start taking positions soon. Take control of the ship before the entire garrison aboard Galister are in position to expel your intrusion, you still have the element of surprise on your side," Thalisar transmitted to every member of his crew aboard the enemy Bion frigate.

Ross stalks the hallways of the Galister, looking for his comrades. "God dammit. Where'd they all go?" Suddenly, he heard footsteps and voices down the hallway, around the corner. He pressed to the wall, and glanced around the corner. It was Z, being held by the arms by two Bions. Shit. he thought to himself. I need to deal with this now. With that, Ross jumps from the corner and fires a shot at the face of one of the Bions, while pulling his Gladius style sword from it's sheath.

[Ristau]

Z noticed Ross and quickly uses his psych on one of the bions that had him in custody. He hoped that Ross would take care of the other one. After this, we can finally commence with my plan... I'll go invisible, and then go around and try to somehow over take this ship, and it's weapons, before we're attacked by any of the more elite Bions.

[Lancer]

The Bion Ross shot at was smarter than the one Lambda had defeated; his electronic shields were active and absorbed the shock for him. Noticing his shields had taken unexpected damage, he turned to the direction of the bullet only to have a Gladius penetrate his shields and enter his midsection. Ross pulled the sword from the Bion and he staggered back and fell, electricity running amok in the section Ross had torn from its Bronze armor. Z took advantage of Ross' surprise attack and freed himself from the other Bion, quickly using his psyche blast to disable the Bion's shields while promptly using his own weapons to incapacitate his captor. They were about to engage in the next phase of the plan, but they still needed to wait for the rest of the crew to reach their coordinates.

Storm and Layle made their escape from the Engine chamber; they avoided detection by the large contingency, but in their absence engine repairs had already commenced.

Lambda received Thalisar's coordinates and was doing his best to drag himself to the location without giving himself away to the ship's garrison. He couldn't fight anymore, but he still had a mission to fulfill.

Ross sheathed his gladius and holstered his gun. "Well, you seemed to get yourself in a bit trouble, huh? See anybody else? I got separated from Lambda."

[Ristau]

"I let Storm and Layle go on ahead, and next thing I know, there were Bions. I figured that instead of getting myself hurt, I'd rather get captured and hope that one of you would free me, which you did. Thank you." Z pulled the clips out of his guns and reloaded them all to be completely full incase they ran into more trouble.

"Right, well, we need to keep moving. We need to make our way to the bridge, and hopefully meet up with the rest of the team. Worst case scenario, they're all dead."

Though it wasn't her role, Selene kept a figure of the position of all the Dredd Star's crew in her view. It certainly wasn't the best place to be in and the risk of someone dying was increasing quickly. One part of her wanted to find a way over and provide support. That was reasonable...the mission is still to prevent casualties. Injured personnel should be returned, at least to their transport. Failing that, she could run a recovery mission herself. But, she was engaging and holding other ships at bay. If this ship were to go down, there would be nothing for survivors to return to.

It was horrible. The feeling that you couldn't stop to do anything more. For now, there was nothing but chance and chance alone that Selene could pray to for a successful mission.

Layle was running with Storm to meet at the bridge ASAP,

"Storm, where are the others? We'll have to hurry, because as Thalisar said, the vets are coming soon, so we're short on time." Layle said in a slight panic, knowing this could go down very quickly if anyone was either unable to fight or worse, dead. Now, as it stood, Layle thought the chances of success were getting smaller.

"Captain, how much time do we have before the vets come? Also, Storm and I are going as fast as we can to the bridge now." Layle both asked and reported. Now that he realized that Storm's weapons were functional, Layle felt a little better about going against Bions.

[Lancer]

"They're securing the engine room, repairing the damage that you've done. A few of them are moving towards your positions. Keep moving to Ross' coordinates. Regroup and take the bridge with utmost haste," Thalisar told Layle.

"As much as I hate following the orders of a Bion, it must be done. Do not underestimate these Bions for one second. Even if there are just a few veterans, we might not be able to take them. Engaging them head on in equal numbers is tantamount to suicide," Storm told Layle.

"Well, they may get a fix on our position before we get to Ross, Storm. Perhaps we can play some cat and mouse until we reach Ross, outnumber the ones closing in on us." Layle suggested. Now close to Ross' position, Layle fell behind Storm while watching the rear for the Bions that were coming. "I don't see the enemy Bions yet, Storm. If all goes well the entire contingent won't notice us until we take out the bridge." Layle said a little quieter, so as to keep a much smaller profile while running just behind Storm.

Ross and Z finally found the hallway leading into the bridge. There was surprisingly little resistance on the way there. "I've got a bad feeling about this. They could be holed up in there, waiting for us with their best men. Dammit...where are the others?!" He talked into his comm. "Captain, where are the others? Are they nearby?"

[Lancer]

"Layle and Storm are approaching your position and are nearby, but it seems as though Lambda is having difficulties and is a few hallways from your position. He doesn't seem to be engaging any hostiles; I'm assuming he's been wounded and is having difficulties moving as a result," Thalisar responded to Ross. "The hacker drive I gave you is still safe and intact, right Ross? In the best case scenario, the hacker can turn all the weapons systems aboard the ship against the Bions, we can take over the UI in order to warn them, and we can force a surrender of the garrison and the ship without either side taking unnecessary casualties. You still remember the location I told you it must be installed on the bridge, yes?"

[Ristau]

Z noticed that Ross was grabbing something as he spoke to Thalisar, and that he was now holding it in his hand. "Ross, please tell me that's not a drive capable of disabling the weapon systems... I WAS GOING TO DO THAT MANUALLY, BUT I SURRENDERED BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE TIME! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US THAT WAS PART OF THE PLAN IN THE FIRST PLACE????????" Z, obviously pissed, used his psych on Ross so he couldn't move, grabbed the drive and sprinted off toward the bridge so he could do go hack the system.

"Agh! Damn! What are you doing?! Asshole!"

Layle heard Ross' yell, and ran even faster.

"Storm, double time." Layle ordered in a respectful way. "This mission is going south very fast, let's hurry!"

Shortly after, Layle saw Ross near the bridge. "Are you all right Ross?" Layle asked. "Where is Z? Also, can you walk?"
