[Mankut]

"We should take the swordwoman and priest. We need to have a healer, and an extra fighter would be handy. The sniper seems...cruel. He'll kill us when we're not looking or something", Mankut said.

[Hughes]

Kajh shook his head. "I told you, I'm not into long distance, it's ineffective for me. I agree about needing some long range, but I wouldn't trust that sniper with my dog." Turing to Seraph, he offered his hand. "I Guess we haven't met? I'm Kajh."

[Forbz]

Rollizo grumbled and stretched. "Decide. No point in this. The monk is good..." He said.

[Holy Kensai]

The warforged, annoyed at the immaturity of the group said 'None of you are the smart one. Shut up and let her speak." Turning again to to the elf, he waited.

[Forbz]

Rollizo faced the warforged and straightened his back. "You think... Because I do no speak common... I stupid? Elf will speak when elf will speak." He took a deep, rumbling breath. "If us are on journey, us need continue." He crossed his arms and waited for another person to speak. In his opinion they didn't even need another fighter; they just needed to get moving.

Aurora, surprised and pleased that the outcome of the confrontation hadn't been violent watched in silence. She was pleased to know that not everyone in the group wanted to smash first ask questions later. Pondering about the suggestion the blue haired mercenary had given she eyed each of the members carefully, while listening to the comments of her comrades.

"Well" she began speaking her reasoning out loud. "We currently have four up front fighters, and two ranged fighters and then our supporter, the bard. The Orc and the Warforged, I assume, are to be our heaviest hitters, while the other two have speed on their side. Together they form the wall of defence for myself and the others who are ranged...This worked partially while fighting that strange man...though a healer would help us greatly." she nodded to herself "Yes...a healer would help us. Added with the bard's invigorating effects it would be very helpful indeed.

[Seraphinox]

Seraph took the monks hand and shook it.
"the pleasure is mine" he said with a sly smile

Turning back to the others he looked around and said "You see someone has some sense pointing at Aurora, we don't need fighters we need healers"

Ike finally approached the party, having over heard all the bickering and what not. He held his weapon loselyy to his side, his other hand on his hip.

"Alright look, you've been arguing about this. How about I just send Mia and Rhys with you. That way everyone is happy." Hhe gave a grin and waved his hand over, the purple haired swords woman and red haired priest approached them and promptly introduced themselves.

The group traveled for another half hour and reached the cave entrance, one that seemed to eminate a dark presense from it's entrance. There were no noticable signs of damage or combat. But something seemed off.

"Well, here we are." The orc said. "Shall we proceed?"

[Forbz]

Rollizo stepped forward and sniffed. "Air... smells odd." He squinted and turned to the orc. "May as well. Us not... not going to get far standing by in right here."

[DH_Ninja]

Both Gragnar and Rolizo entered the cave, they walked about twenty feet in before the paths start to branch. As they got further in, they couldn't help but notice that the cave reaked of the smell of blood. Nothing else in the cave could be smelt, but the putrid stench The cave was well lit up by torches. To the right was a chamber, inside it, about Twelve treasure chest, all located toward the back, a storage room perhaps.

To a more diagnol right, a path way, up ahead, many dwarf corpses lay, all seemingly impaled by something pointed. However, they were all scatted about, except in one concentrated area about fourty feet up. In that area, there lay about six bodies, all that looked like they just fell to the floor upon being impaled. Further up, it looked like the pathway branched off.

To a more diagnol left, a pathway that lead straight up and turned to the left. Along the way, several corpses. Mostly dwarves, but there was one human and one orc there was well.

Mankut followed the minotaur into the cave. It was scattered with corpses and reeked of blood. Mankut drew his sword and walked up to the orc. "We should see what's in the chests," Mankut said.

[Hughes]

Kajh let out a low whistle at the carnage. "Well I'll be dammed... Something doesn't feel right here, magically I mean." He shook his head. "I don't know, it's just odd. Do either of you feel it?" He said, addressing the priest and the elf.

[Forbz]

Rollizo ran his hand along the wall. "Chests... chests be useful might. I want to check bodies as well." He craned his head to see more of the carnage ahead. From what he saw he couldn't make out why the dwarves were dead, but it was enough to make him draw his weapon and stand ready.

[Holy Kensai]

Alark already had his sword ready, and said "We should stay in one group. Except for right now, the sneakiest go to the chests and see if they're a trap. Grognar, you come with me to check the dwarf bodies. We're going to see how heavy they are without their armor. If they're light enough we can take a few with us to mark the paths we go down, so we don't get lost. Whatever happens, keep the healer and the smart elf safe. If you hear cries for help, it would be best not to follow them, as cave echoes can play tricks on ears. Mia, if you would please, head to the back of the group, in case of an ambush." Looking down the corridor at the dwarves, he didn't get why everyone seemed uneasy, he didn't sense anything. Maybe he was just insensitive to it, being a construct and all. "Everyone, be careful of traps, there must be some reason the dwarves are dead. C'mon Grognar, and Rhys, just in case any dwarves are still alive." Waiting for the two, the warforged walked down the path to the dwarf bodies, slowly.

[Forbz]

Rollizo caught up and grabbed the warforged's shoulder with his massive hand. "Wait. You not leader. And... What is mean 'ambush'?" He looked over his shoulder at the others, then down at a dwarf's body that lay mere yards from where he stood. He let go of Alark and kneeled over. With one hand he closed the warrior's glassy eyes and with the other he turned the body on its chest. "This wreckage... bother me. I have many dwarf... friends..."

Rhys shook nervously as he scanned the area and followed Alark, while the Orc didn't mind the smell at all. He grew up in a clan that constantly raided and warred, eventually he left it to set out and do his "own" thing.

"There is a great evil in this cave." Rhys said gripping his staff tightly and examining the dwarf corpses in the near by vacinity. It was clear that they were all dead, oddly enough, it looked like someone had bothered to take their equipment but not their armor. It appeared that many were killed by a sharp object, one that impailed. Up ahead on the path lay the grouped together corpses. It looked as though they had just dropped to the ground dead, impaled on the spot.

Mia and Zeke remained further back just in case of an ambush. Both ready for whatever may come.

"If I could make a suggestion, I'd say ignore the chest." The Illithid spoke, the voice making itself known to everyone telepathically. "Unless you really want to check it out, go ahead. Could be useful."

Mankut crept to the cavern with the chests. He opened one of the chests and found a vulcenary. "Eh," Mankut said, putting the vulcenary in his pocket and creeping to the next chest. But then, he heard a sound.

[DH_Ninja]

As Mankut entered the cavern with the twelve chest, a steel gate slammed shut across the entrance into it. Then another did. Then a third. A trap to ensure know one who entered that room would leave. There was a hissing sound in the room, he wasn't alone.

Seraph let out a laugh. He had been watching Mankut and saw him crawl through the hole and then suddenly a gate had come crashing down.

Seraph bent down and peered through

"Hey are you okay in there? Check the other chests for me will ya?"

Mankut drew his sword and turned. "Idiot," Mankut spat at Seraph. "If I weren't trapped here, you would be among those corpses." Mankut turned again and faced the sound.
