Zareal knew he would go too far and so he ran into the battle and hit Mankut in the back of the head with the blunt side of his axe.

"There" Said Zareal "Now lets get out of here in case that other guy wakes up"

[Mankut]

Mankut felt woozy, but he unsteadily rose to his feet. Picking up his sword, he tried to attack but instead fell into unconsciousness.

[Rennac]

Zorn gave Mankut a vicious kick in the side, then turned to Zareal. "You're right, the other guy will probably wake soon. Let's go." Zorn said, then turned to the prone figure. "Won't be needing this." Zorn thought, picking up Mankut's sword.

[Seraphinox]

Watching as Zorn stole Mankuts sword. Zareal started to walk down the road.

"Come on" Zareal said "Before Ash wakes up"

[Rennac]

"Ash is that other guy...?" Zorn mumbled, putting the sword into a belt loop on his pants. "Let's go." Zorn followed Zareal along the trail, looking forward to the prospect of money.

As the two of them walked they eventually arrived at a town.
"How do we go about being Mercenaries" asked Zareal "I was always a pirate so I don't really know this stuff"

[Rennac]

"Well, this town looks like a dump, but there's probably a group of mercenaries already. They're probably pretty unskilled, though. We could either start our own group- we'd have to fight for that- or we could join their group." Zorn said, a grimace on his face. "I'd... Much... rather start our own."

[Mankut]

Mankut woke up with a burning pain in his side. Wincing, he noticed his sword was gone. He knew Zorn must have stolen it. He walked back to their shelter.

"How the hell do we start our own? we don't have any money" Zareal said to Zorn.

[Rennac]

"I thought you were supposed to be a pirate. If you don't want to make it, you can go back to the shack in the woods. If you do... We can go into their group, try to get the members to follow us, and overthrow them. That's the hard way. The easy way would be to tell the soldiers where the 'hideout' is, and collect the bounty." Zorn smiled, feeling in his element again. "So, which do you like?"

"Whichever is easiest" Zareal said "Theres no way that I'm walking all the way back to that shack"

[Rennac]

"Sure, let's go... That way." Zorn pointed at a road, the only paved road in the village.

quick, now for an 80's marching montage so we can get to the village twice as fast

When they finally reached the village, Zareal looked around.
"Now where do we go?" He asked

[Rennac]

"See that big fort over there? The one with the soldiers? That's where we go." Zorn walked up to the captain of the guard, and asked " Do you know of a resistance group here? " The captain, a large man with a pug like face, replied "Yeh. Wahrt, do you know of 'em?" "I know their location." "Captain gave Zorn a stern look and then said "How d'yeh know 'em?"

Getting to the shelter, Mankut grabbed a Steel Sword. He then walked around the base to the stables and got his steed out. Jumping on it, he headed in the direction of the nearest town, hoping Zorn would be there. "I'm gonna kill him", Mankut thought.
