[AS Deadly]

Underneath the tree that Leona was currently occupying, Zel quietly watched the battle. "Interesting..." he whispered. "Defending the town from a bandit attack. I wonder if they consider themselves heroes?"

"Hey... Who's that guy?" Kraan wondered."Haven't seen him around."



((How'd you get to that tree without anyone noticing? LOL.))

((I was there the whole time, you guys were too focused on the morphs/bandits to notice, LoL))

Zel noticed the rogue staring at him. His eyes narrowed, and he stared at him back.

He decided it was best to not make a first impression as a stalker, so after a quick glance at Leona, who was STILL in the tree, he walked over to the rogue.

"The name's Zel. My money bag is hidden." He gestured at his sword to make a point. "Don't expect anything from me just because you saved this town. You're just as bad as they were."

Leona jumped down from the tree, right behind Zel, and started to tell him off, "Listen, maybe you think everyone is an ass, but I was just protecting this guy from being cleaved in two. Maybe you are just curious, but I still find that a rude way to treat someone who was ambushed by morphs."

Leona then smiled and said, "With that done, I am Leona, and you are?"

"..." Zel quietly stared at Leona as she started telling him off. Halfway through the tirade, as she was pausing for more breath, he promptly turned away. "The name's Zel." He closed his eyes. "So these are...morphs? Where would they have come from I wonder...?"

((He's talking to himself, ignoring everyone else))

[Rennac]

" Why the hell do you hate me already, Zel? Do you hate me just because I almost died?!" Kraan asked, his hand clenched on his knife. "Ugh."

"Hey, calm down, you." Skyler said, grabbing Kraan's shoulder. "He didn't realize they were morphs."

[AS Deadly]

Zel looked at Kraan. "I saw the child. I also saw you abandon him. He's buried over there." He pointed. "I could care less if you die or not. From what I saw, you would have deserved it." He slowly moved his hand toward the hilt of his sword, glaring dangerously at Kraan.

Leona grabbed Zel's shoulder and told him, "The kid was a morph too. Seems lately that morphs are all over the place. Just calm down you two...Skyler and I don't want to have to hold you two all day, or night, whatever bloody time it is."

[Rennac]

"You're angry that I abandoned a fiend with no emotion...? I don't care anyway. I'm going to port." Kraan turned around and continued to walk to port, stepping over a dead morph in the process.

[AS Deadly]

"...another morph?" Zel turned around. "So just because he was a morph, you think leaving a little one unburied is right? Just? Normal?" He had an angry glint in his eyes. "People are all the same. Nothing attracts attention like human suffering. Didn't you see the crowd around him? No, of course you wouldn't. You abandoned him. What I saw was sickening. If no one steps forth to do the right thing, what happens in the dilemma? Will we all cower in fear? I choose to do what's right."

He sighed. "Perhaps I am overstepping myself. You must have had a reason to kill him like such. I shouldn't be so quick on the draw to judge..." His gaze softened. "...I realize you didn't intentionally leave the kid there to attract a crowd. Such atrocities are hard to realize, even for you." ((Talking to Kraan, as he walks away))

Zel turned back towards Leona. "My apologies. I didn't mean to unleash my anger onto you. I just lost myself..."

Skyler watched Kraan walk by, "Those morphs...." He muttered to himself. "They can't be....his?"

Leona got tired of this. She got sick and tired of everyone walking away. She yelled at the top of her lungs, "GOD DAMN IT! STOP IT YOU TWO!"

Then, in a slightly less volumed tone, "You two are being children, runni g away from each other to look tough, why don't the two of you come back, and settle your differences BEFORE you kill each other?"

Cecil continues to sleep through all the action.

He wakes up and gets dressed, and makes a quick breakfast. Checking over his stuff, he makes sure he has everything and sits down to wait for Skylar.

[Rennac]

Kraan stopped, but did not turn around. " If I had not killed him, It would have cost two lives! If he had not almost killed two kids, of course I wouldn't have! Yeah, I think it's natural to kill a morph to save two innocent children!" Kraan walked away, feeling resentful about... anything.

Cecil hears the show off thief from the day before and decides to go down and see what's he is up to now.

Zel looked at Kraan, surprise in his eyes. "You...what...there...he...I..." He continued to stutter, looking down at himself. "Forgive me. I only witnessed the action, I...I was too quick to judge. I was erroneous, you're...more honorable then I had initially presumed."

((Lol yeah it's fun, but it has to end to get the story moving hehe ))

[Rennac]

"Ah... thanks." Kraan was surprised. He did not expect the argument to end so abruptly. "Hey... There's Cecil. Wait... HOW THE HELL DID HE SLEEP THROUGH THIS!?

Leona smiled and said, "See, you two can be good friends now. Don't yell at the poor guy, he was probably exhausted from being a good guy and playing hide and seek with the kids"

"Cecil? You mean one of your friends slept through all of this? I'm surprised you didn't wake the whole town with that," said Zel, looking at Leona. "Oh...I spoke too soon."
He looked behind Leona, to see a gathering crowd of wide-eyed people, some rubbing sleep out of their eyes.
