[Golden Warrior]

Zeon continues to watch Jet. In wait for his perfect time to strike.

"He doesn't let his guard off..." Zeon grunted to himself.

Even as Jet is walking out, Zeon notices his guard is still up.

"No wonder I'm getting 100,000 gold if I do this right..." He sighed.

He then steps out for awhile, hoping to make a new, better, plan.

*I remember that I signed up already, and I immediately see that the baby dragon tripped and flipped onto its back*

"Farewell, dragon scum!"

*I immediately stab my katana through the baby dragon's throat, then slice the head off from the inside, to make sure it's dead*


"Now to confirm my registration."

[Axel]

"Ah, so I see.. those were just the preliminaries.. well this IS intriguing.."

*Walks to the sign-up table and signs my name, Shadow Stalker.*

I turn to Zeon, "Heh. Good luck."

*I silently enter my name into registration: Shade Lightwood.*

"Hehe, yes.. good luck, indeed.."

"I need to get that meteor fragment back, but it may be the prize...."

Try not to kill your opponents. It will earn you more money. And attract more spectators.

I didn't take the thought of not watching my opponents squirm until they die from the poison very well, but I had to accept to possibly to get the fragment.

"Excuse me, Jet? Is the grand prize of the tournament a meteor fragment?"

Hm... I'll get more money by killing you, Zeon thinks to himself as if talking to Jet.

He signs his name falsely as James. No one knows his real name anyway.

I look rather surprised.

"A meteor fragment? What's that? Well I found this thing on the ground over around the entrance. I thought it looked like a pretty interesting rock."

Shows Shade the Meteor Fragment.

"Is this yours? If so, here. It's just a rock. And the grand prize is a fragment. But a fragment of something very powerful."

I disappear over toward Luna.

[Axel]

*Sits on a tree stump sharpening my blade waiting for my name to be called.*

"Heh heh.. after I kill my opponent, I can snatch Jet's valued bejeweled ring and be out of here before anyone even recognizes I'm gone."

*I take the meteor fragment*

"Thanks Jet, I need this to be able to face you in a swordfight on even terms. For I'm going to use it to enhance my katana's power and durability to rival Alondight's one day."

*After that, I sit in the waiting room for my match.*

Begins removing his heavier gear, hopefully making it easier to kill Jet. He keeps his sword and some lightwieght armor. He then sits and waits for his name to be called.

[Axel]

*Walks over to this Shade fellow*

"So, what's your relationship with Jet? You two childhood friends or something like that?"

[Echo-279]

*The rage fades from my eyes, and my eyes become a normal crimson, I then look at "James"*

"So, James, was it? Why did you join the tournament?"


*There was no hostility in my voice, only curiosity.*

Zeon thinks of a simple answer as fast as he can.

"I'm mainly in it for the money. I need to live, you know?"

'Close call' he thinks to himself.

[Axel]

*Seeing that he's completely oblivious to me, I loot 10 shillings from him, and walk over to my own bench to take a nap before my name is called.*

"I see..."

*I'm clearly suspicious of James, because of his hesitance to answer.*

Notices the looting, but doesn't say anything, due to thinking that Shade would notice. Also notices the look on Shade's face.
