Yeah, that's part of the reason I'm so anti-base. Drawing books should help a lot as long as you on't just trace; I'm working from a few myself to get proportions down.

That hand. XD It's pretty weird-looking, honestly. Beyond that, the face is good, the hair's fine, etc.

Some of her stuff looks like she used Pastels, yet I can also tell she uses colored pencils and markers.

Draw with? Uh, just your normal mechanical pencil , then I ink with a thin permanent marker, then colored pencils. Oh, and erase any extra pesky lines.

I like to use mechanical pencil. The point is always sharp. Problem is, if you press too hard it leaves marks or grooves in the paper and can be seen even if you if erase or color over it.

Ugh, I seriously hate when that happens. That's why I try not to press down so hard. (Doesn't matter, because the point always breaks.)

That's exactly why I refuse to ever use mechanical pencils, they're too complicated.

Legs too long, and it looks like you colored in part of her right shoulder OPV with the hair color, but otherwise good.

I think he's suggesting you take the ad\vice, then. Well, your choice, anyway. If you're fine with sticking you your own style, then do that. We're just trying to help you become more realistic, but ultimately it is your choice.
Sikowitz: Nothing especially notable, other than the text being hard to read.
Beauty Trainers: I do like the bottom two a lot, but the one with legs' arms are too short and her legs are too long.
Plusle and Minum: Nothing stands out. Good piece.
