Ares flew in and shifted back to (semi) human form. "Do you guys need some help?"

The girl was rather faster then the fire mage had thought she would be. Bolganoe wasnt the right spell, it packed quite a punch but wasnt fast enough to hit the girl. "Feisty little bitch!" He cried taking out another book, chanting a spell and then firing at Tania. The thunder mage couldnt dodge the blow and was hit.

"Urgh." Tania said brushing herself out. She looked up to see what seems to be another enemy. The raven was approaching the crew, startled, Tania casted Thunder on the raven. A bolt of lightning shone as it made its way above Ares ready to hit.

[Hawk]

(Me? I'm a HAWK!)

"Woah!" Ares shouted. He quickly flew away. What the HELL!? "What the f**k was that for!?" He shouted at the girl. He shifted again and dove at her (faster this way). He stopped short and shifted again. He landed. "I'm not an enemy, you know."

"Then what are you!?!" Tania cried flinging another spell at the raven. The fire mage took advantage of the ravens distraction and attacked Tania again, this time, she sidestepped out of the way leaving the Raven in the way of both spells.

The mercenaries saw Tania getting away, but they saw the fire mage chasing after her. Jeff turned and sprinted towards Tania, but then the mage scored a direct hit. Jeff saw a shadow above him and saw Tron being casted above the shadow. Was it laguz reinforcements? Regardless, Jeff stood in between Tania and the fire mage with his Hand Axe ready.....

Arnold had landed two good hits on two cavalrymen taking them down. Then he saw Jeff had sprinted away and saw the other cavalrymen ahead of him. Arnold readied his sword.....

"I don't know!" He glided away. "Quit attacking me, and we can find out! Who are you?" ... He dove at the mage who had attacked the girl. "Shut up a minute, idiot."

[Mankut]

"Violence is unnecessary and stupid", Rose coldly replied. However, at that moment, a huge explosian rose up. The man ran off, leaving Rose alone. "Better go see what that is", she thought to herself. Quickly mounting her pegasus, Rose flew towards the explosian and saw a battle unfolding. "Savages", she thought. She landed at the edge of the battle and pulled out a lance. Even though she prefered to avoid violence, Rose saw that the a fire mage could easily kill everyone. She flew up and divebombed the mage, aiming to impale him. One quick non-lethal stab and then she could continue on her way.

"Tch, she could have offered me a ride!" The silver paladin said out loud. Alucard ran towards the explosion site, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword, thats when he heard hoof steps approaching at great speed. Alucard felt the ground shake as three great knights appeared and charged at the paladin. Alucard unsheathed his sword and started swinging above his head. As the first greatknight came charging, the paladin quickly stepped to the side and cut his shoulder blade resulting in the great knight to drop his axe and lose control of his horse. The other two looked intimidated by the Paladins feat but to no avail charged the young paladin.

"Tch, bring it!" Alucard taunted raising his sword getting ready to strike.

Trigger happy thunder mage

Tania looked around anxiously, there were too many people arriving over such a small period of time, she couldnt handle them all. The two Mercenaries seem to be handling the calves fine but... wait a second. "Where are the other two knights!?" Tania cried flipping through her tome. She started to chant another incantation and ready the spell in her hand, at the site of a cavalier charging her, she opened her palm and casted the spell on the knight causing him to fall off his horse.

Tania grinned triumphantly, it seems as if they were gaining the upper hand. She turned to see the Pegasus attack the fire mage. Tania was readying herself to catch another spell when a hand reached out and grabbed her wrist causing her to freeze her spell. "Who-" Tania cut herself when she turned around and saw the man. "You... I thought you..."

The man revealed himself, he was an average height twenty five year old with short, straight green hair. He wore an orange robe with a belt fastened around his waist. His red cape flowed in the air as he turned and faced the enemies. The knights immediately bowed down to the sage as he put his tome away. At his side was a shy priestess who wore a white dress, in her hand, a fancy stave. "Tania, did you get taller?" The sage said letting her hand go. The thunder mage was still frozen.

"Heh, Sayer, get on your feet." The wind sage cried out to the fire mage. The fire mage got up. "Sayer, take the rest of your troops and leave, I'll deal with them." The fire mage mounted with one of his soldiers and departed. The Wind sage continued.

"Tania, you still havent said hi, you're not happy to see me?" He asked. The green haired wind sage looked back at the group. "So, these are the group of rebels you recruited to help you? Honestly, Tania, sometimes I worry, you cant win, its fruitless, its better i you just join us, I'll make sure king Vincent doesnt harm you..."

"No." Tania refused. "I promised to avenge mother and fathers death, thats what I'm going to do, even if it means death."

"Right, ignore the big hawkman." Ares shook his head. What to do, what to do... Hmm... He swooped into the air and over the girl. He listened intently. Death? Sounds like fun.

OOC: Tania's safe right? Battle is over?

Just as Jeff stopped running, the battle had ceased. He had seen the two people wisk her away. Seeing that they had saved her life. Jeff knew they were friendly. Arnold caught up to Jeff and immediately saw Tania with the other people.

"Should we go over there" Arnold asked.
Jeff paused..."No, leave them be. There is no point at the moment, if she is safe, then we have done our duty. We should report back to Travis as soon as possible."
Arnold replied, "Alright, let's go. That princess won't need our help any more, being that we are .....lacking. She chooses what is best for her."

The two mercenaries walk into Fresslia's gates with their robes on, it is near midnight so they won't be detected.

Rose saw the fighting end. She quickly landed, glad she hadn't impaled the mage. As she landed, she heard the word "rebel". "You're a rebel?" she asked Tania. "Just as I was starting to think you people weren't all bad", Rose said as she shook her head. Turning to the other soldiers, she asked another question. "Are you rebel's too?"

Crap. These guys are criminals. I'll need to take them in. But one against four, I've got no chance. Maybe I can lure them back to the post. But if it comes to a fight, I'll need to flee quickly and get reinforcements.

I love how they're ignoring me. "Yoohoo, up here."

Rose head a familiar sound. "What is that?" she thought. She then looked upward. Hovering above her was a hawk-man. "Laguz", she muttered. Stepping backward from everyone, she realized that yet again the odds against her had grown. "Come down here", she said to the hawk-man. "Who are you?"

"I'm Ares. Who are you?" He landed on the ground.

"My name is Rosemary. I am a soldier for Daein." Rose said. " But I asked first. What is your name and business here?" As she spoke, Rose took the final step back and felt the pegasus touching her back. Now out of attack range, she began to relax slightly.

[Hawk]

"Er, I told you my name. Ares," he said, confused. "Don't... I'm not anyone's enemy. I don't know where I was born. I do know my father was a Grado soldier, but that's it..." His thoughts drifted off. What else does she need to know?

Arnold and Jeff turned to see the Pegasus Knight and Hawkman talking. Seeing they were already mid conversation, they decided conversing would just be an interruption so they slowly walked away.

Turning away from the bar, Santon noticed a few specks of red on the floor, and looking up, saw a taller man putting a hand to the back of his head. The man sat down, and started going through his bags. Santon decided to try and help out before he went to sleep.

He walked over to the opposite seat, and sat down.
