Have to agree with you on that, you can only use the sword against some of the morphs and the dragon so the weapon isn't that usefull.
But isn't it obvious what sword is most badass?

I like Ragnell as Ike can wield it and use Aether, together with a ranged attack.
And else Alondite. Just a cool sword

Ya but I wish Killing edge had like Iron Sword endurance. And yes you get Regal Blade late but I like using it in the arena to annihilate my friend in link battles.

You also need an S in swords for the regal blade, which restricts its use at endgame, while the Killing Edge only requires a C, allowing many units to use it.
And yes, a regal blade may be good in link arena, but many people may not use the link arena, and a killing edge is still a good backup weapon for there.

Ya I know killing edges are the sh*t and I'm not trying to diss it. But there is one fatal flaw with it....the dreaded RNG CURSE!!!

Lulz. I'm quite lucky with my killing edges. It's the Wo Dao/Shamsirs that wreck me.

They do? But they have 35 instead of 30. Or is it cuz they are Assassin/Swordmaster/Lyn/Eirika only?

Not so. I used the Killing edge vs. BK in my first RD playthrough so I could get Wishblade. It was so awesome I killed him too quickly
plus Ike didn't even have capped str. Lolpwnage.But I voted vaguekatti, it has 35 crit in FE9. Insta awesome.

You forgot the Wyrmslayer. That weapon kills in FE8, with it's 30
uses. It's like a steel sword, but lighter, and has effectiveness.
