Anime goes through some cycles where some genres come to the fore more than others for that year, but most years you get the same amount of the same type of shows.

Oh, guess I'm just being silly.
Not that I don't still think the censorship is silly, but like I said I can live with it as long as they don't end up actually totally changing the experience in later censorship endeavors. XP We let them get away with the small ones and they'll be more tempted to push their luck with bigger stuff later, y'know? :\

From what I've read they just made the costumes more PG I guess, and lowered the amount of sexual innuendos

Nah, it's never going to be that bad.
It's normally only a costume/sprite that gets changed, or something like character ages.
