Beat me to the punch^ tongue.gif but I'm older than you and likely played the game far before you did so my nostalgia factor is 100x greater

That last segment definitely turned Smash Brethren around for me-- I didn't care for it at all until this part. And of course Iote's Shield is win.

Rogues and Redeemers actually had some difficulty. And it was pretty cool too. Had to restart once because Linus had counter and Chrom KO'd himself >.>. I have a feeling I'm going to like this series.

Also played through paralogue 21. Interesting....

omg I shouldn't have clicked now I have to play QQ

I KNEW the map sprite in FE7 being so similar to the map sprite/animation in FE13 couldn't just be coincidence XD

Rogues and Redeemers looked interesting, didn't get to play it but it looked tough for sure, and Ephraim's a cool guy

Didn't even get to unlock the bonus map... was busy today, probably won't get to soon but it sounds like I'm going to have such a blast XD

I think I might start up a new FE:A playthrough on my special Awakening bundle 3DS that I've spent admiring on my shelf soon, naturally I won't be taking it out of my room but yeah XD that means I have to keep up playing on my old one since that's the one I carry around and thus the only one that'll ever really get streetpasses unless I streetpass with myself repeatedly mwahahahaha

Yen'fey's map pissed me off. It took me 4 tries before I managed to kill enough enemies for Yen'fey to not be obliterated.

First R&R Map - Holy...I just nostalgia'd for a minute when the fight against Linus started (He directly quotes his Boss lines).

Love the "FE's greatest villains team up" feel though. Map really wasn't tough as much an operation in bringing along a little resistance. And 1 flyer with Galeforce since you can basically treat them as an interceptor with one move out, kill, and back.

Oh, and Armsthrift is really, really hilarious. Screw you front gate. Owain can just run Sol Katti the whole time.

Which reminds me...I have to train Lyn to use that. Finally she can use the weapon designed for her no problem.

Speaking of that, I wonder if Morgan has a conversation with her. You know, being originally named Mark and all.

Has anyone figured out what class you get for beating Yen'Fay's map? I nabbed him and maxed support with my male avatar, but I got nothing. Maybe you need to class change and level him to 20? He's like 10 as a Griffon Rider for me, I'll work on that today.

Btw, I only ask because it says that you get a new class for beating the chapter- check the notification for the download in the 3DS menu.

I think the notification is wrong. I checked Serenes and all that, no mention of a new class. They also derped and said Thracia teams were available starting yesterday, but it's Genealogy Gen 2. Yeah, they derped pretty hard I think.

Still a great week though!

A friend of mine seems to share your opinion. I personally have my hopes up, as my best theory is that they meant to say "a new character will be available" instead of "class" and no other announcement says anything about a new character, preferring wording like "you may see someone familiar", but I must admit that the odds are slim.

Or just, you know, just rush flyers to protect him. Galeforce or Deliverer will get the job done...probably even with your B team running it.

I missed it. I think that was during the "Screw it, just die already allies" part of the fight, so I was going through it quickly.

That, plus Linus' is way more iconic to me. biggrin.gif
