So is all magic considered Forbidden Arts, except what little that's related to Tristan's bloodline and the Holy Order? May have already been asked, but I'm just now starting to get the feeling.

All magic that inflicts harm onto others is considered Forbidden Arts, yes. The Holy Order's is considered Holy Arts.

I'm about 45% into Curse of the Magi on Kindle(if anybody here doesn't know, Amazon has the book available for purchase now.)

Kindle doesn't do page numbers the same way a paper book does, so I'm on chapter 3 of Part 2.

1. YOU KILLED ADRIAN, YOU AUTHORITATIVE BASTARD!

2. Anul is Tristan's mother, don't deny it. But how come he didn't recognize her? And will he ever learn who she was?

3. Endifubi is another victim of evil impersonators. But I have to wonder why he was kept alive when the King of Ariglioth's was killed?

4. So, is that supposed to be Endifubi or the Spiritual Leader on the cover?

5. Knew it was Vox, easily.

6. Euwart should have taken Alexis with him. lol

7. I'm assuming the only reason that Adrian got sick from the poison is because he's the only one without some ancient lineage. Tristan is a Holy Warrior, Sigurd is Morris' descendant, Euwart is Robur's, and Lloyd is either Volo's descendant or Volo himself.

8. Sigurd should have just asked the Spiritual Leader to escort Adrian's body back to Vellard while going there to speak to his tribesmen.

9. What's the title of Book Three going to be?

Not denying it-- didn't want to tell you until you finished it She is. Also, Tristan knows. The last couple encounters shows that he does, but remains strong about it. If he told everyone else who she was, they may not have killed her.

Also, easiest way to tell she's Tristan's mom: Tristan's mom's name is Luna. Anul = Luna backwards.

Remember Lloyd killed the King of Ariglioth, and the body in the cellar had the exact same stab wound as the one from the throne room.

It is actually Euwart on the cover. When the cover was being designed, the scene with the bear was a bit different. Euwart was given a sword to from one of the villagers to fight it off, but I changed it at the last possible second. Hence the sword on the cover, more than likely.

He does look barbarian-like, but I think it looks kinda badass so I'm cool with it

1. Don't feel bad. When good characters die, the reader realizes how attached they've gotten to the character. But that doesn't mean you kill off characters en masse, or that you protect some characters as if God Himself is shielding them from harm.

2. That's actually pretty cold of Tristan. You'd think he'd want to try and talk his mother down. But then again he does belong to an order of religious zealots who think anything outside their beliefs is an abomination.

3. Huh, I never imagined Euwart with facial hair. I always imagined him with sort of looking like Wade from FE6 and dressed kinda like Beowolf from FE4 in his TCG art, minus the armoring.

Also the barbarian attire could be explained in the next novel. Just say his clothes were ruined from his fall and time in the water(shrank,) and Alexis gave him new clothes.

4. So does that mean that when the fake Endifubi dies, the real one will die too?

7. Having Crusader blood seems really convenient. Immunity to poisons and magic. lol
