[Dave Strider]

Ronin looked around him, in a bit of awe at the ship and the outer space. Checking that what he had was operational, he soon dozed off, awaiting the next part of the adventure eagerly...

[Nils]

A loud thump woke Raelin with a start. He looked out the window and saw the planet.

[Rennac]

The captain made an announcement over the intercom, "We are nearing the planet, please find a restraint and strap yourselves in. We may have... a bit of trouble during this landing, so be sure you're strapped in securely." He deactivated the intercom, but only a few seconds later, it crackled to life once more, with the captain, sounding worried, saying, We are experiencing a bit of... Magnetic fluctuation, but it's well within acceptable levels. Please strap in."


Skyler woke up from his sleep, and heard the captain telling everyone to strap themselves in. He looked down to see that he hadn't unstrapped himself from the takeoff sequence. "Well then, that was easy..." He thought, looking at the planet.


Alethar woke in a sweat, his eyes wide as he felt that same force he'd felt at the beginning of the trip. He nervously got up and walked to a restraint seat, but before he could strap in, the ship rocked, sending him sliding across the floor into a wall. "What the hell was that?!" Alethar asked, feeling the ship wobbling beneath his feet.


((Nobody has a problem with a crash landing, right?))

Lothor awoke with the last jolt, slamming his chest against the harness. Absent-minded;y rubbing his chest with his left hand, he replied smartly "That, was painful."

[Dave Strider]

Ronin continued to sleep, and said to himself, "No, Mom, five more minutes..."

With the last lurch he smacked his head. "Ow, that hurt... Oh, are we supposed to buckle up? Are we there already?"

[Nils]

Raelin braced himself for the atmosphere. By the looks of it, this was going to be rough.

[Rennac]

As the passengers rushed to strap themselves in, the lighting, datascreens, and the pilot's controls flickered, then blinked out. They felt their stomachs lurch as they started to descend to the planet, the ship shaking wildly. The emergency power for the ship activated, with just enough power to deploy the drag flaps and reverse thrusters. The descent slowed, and as they entered the atmosphere, it looked like they were going to crash into the edge of a forest, next to a large lake.


Skyler held on to the straps tightly, feeling his vision blur from the sheer force of the descent. He closed his eyes and braced himself for impact.


Alethar staggered to his feel, slowly edging his way to his bunk to grab his equipment. He made a dash for his locker, and was able to grab it all, during a short period when the jolting lightened. He then ran for an empty restraint, strapping himself in as he saw the ground of the unknown planet rush towards them.

[Nils]

Raelin had managed to cut through the window of the ship when he saw that a crash landing was inevitable. He grabbed Ronin and used the Force to hurl him through the large gap he had cut through the window. (The ship was about 30 yards from the ground.

Then Raelin leapt out of the ship and used the force to slow down Ronin's decent speed up his own. He managed to reach the ground about 6 meters before the ship. He landed painfully on his feet, wincing as pain lanced up his feet. Ronin had landed comfortably in a pool of green liquid.

Raelin focused as hard as he could and used the force to greatly slow the falling ship. It seemed to float a few feet off the ground. It was pointed nose down. The weight of the ship was too much for Raelin to bear using the Force. He let go, exhausted as the ship crashed down to the ground, crushing the front of the ship.

[Rennac]

Keough rolled, and as the front window broke in a shower of glass, jumped out, landing nicely on his feet a couple feet ahead of the ship. He saw a prone figure lying in a small greenish puddle, and another, slouched and exhausted, presumably from trying to slow the crash of the ship. He examined the ship, and thought that they could probably cut through the wreckage to get to both the cabin and the supplies. As he thought this, he saw another figure come out, dragging a bleeding figure.


Skyler kept himself braced for impact, and was able to protect himself from any shrapnel with his force power. As he looked for a way to get out, he noticed small rivulets of blood coming from the cockpit. The right half of the cockpit was a jumble of wiring and metal, broken beyond repair. The captain lay there, having apparently blacked out from the pain- he had a piece of metal piercing his left leg! Skyler cut away the major blockages, then pulled the captain out, laying him on the ground and yelling at the others to see if they could help. He pulled out his medkit, and quickly pulled out the metal, then applied antiseptic and bandaged it.

"Yeah." Raelin panted.

He fell onto one knee in exhaustion. He saw movement in the crashed ship.

Lothor blinked away the haze that had crawled over his vision after this violent impact from the ship crashing into the ground. He strained and released the safety harness, pulling himself out of the wreckage and onto the ground. He shook his head, trying to get rid of the sick feeling he had from all of the shaking before during to see the Captain on the ground being bandaged, and then back to the ground in time for the contents of his stomach to be emptied.

[Rennac]

Alethar looked around, trying to see if there were any clues to who or what may live on this planet. He then turned, and saw all the members of the party... Students, at least. As he wondered what happened to the masters, a door was cut in the ship, and Skyler's master walked out, carrying the other behind him.

[Nils]

(@ Roque: Wouldn't it make more sense if the captain died? It would also get rid of the hassle of someone having to control him.)

Raelin saw the two masters walk out of the ship. He nodded at Alethar.

[Rennac]

(( Yeah, it gets pretty annoying having four characters. I'm planning to leave Skyler and the masters with the captain, and we can go out and scout or whatever.))


Alethar turned to the other students, and asked, "So, how about we go and scout some things out... See if we can find anything useful?" He looked towards the forest, where he could sense a strong amount of Force Energy.

Skyler looked up, and said, "I need to stay here. I've got to finish my bandaging up of the captain. Masters? Are you going to stay here?"

The masters looked up, and the conscious one nodded, saying, "I've got to bandage up my friend here, also. I'm sure you could handle anything on this planet... Not like there's anything besides some animals, anyways."

[Nils]

Raelin looked at Alethar. I guess me and Ronin will go with you?

The other student nodded.

Raelin and Ronin joined their companion and walked out through the swamp and low lying branches.

[Rennac]

As they walked through the branches, feeling stagnant water sloshing around their feet, Alethar and the others came upon a small clearing, where there was a small fighter, with a human skeleton lying beside it. Alethar walked up to the ship, and noticed the mark of the Jedi Temple on the side, and as he looked closer at the skeleton, he noticed the distinctive sears of a lightsaber on the right arm and ribs. He looked up at the other two, puzzlement in his eyes.

[Nils]

Perturbed, Raelin returned Alethar's gaze.

"What do you think happened?" he asked.

[Dave Strider]

"That looks painful... but if he has anything useful, we might just end up needing it. After all, we crashed pretty badly here, so we'll be needing everything we can get."

[Nils]

Raelin checked the clothes that stretched thinly over the remains of the unfortunate Jedi. He had a nearly defective lightsaber. Its blade crackled faintly and faded away. He opened the saber jumped back as a burst of sparks erupted out of the hilt. He cautiously dumped out the blackened contents of the saber. Raelin saw something gleam and picked up an oddly shaped rock. He dipped it into the swamp and wiped the muck on the ground. It was a silightly darkend, cyan lightsaber crystal.

Raelin turned to the other students.

"This is all that he had in his pocket. The rest of the saber is beyond repair."

He saw Ronin digging through the cockpit of the ship.

Raelin tossed the crystal to Alethar, who held it up to the light to examine it.
